Ah, wanting to reply to this for some time, but I really taken the time now to do so.
The Peterton pic is a bit strange perhaps... strange as to the content, because in itself it's a marvelous piece of artistic Bandito-craftmanship. I always thought the TIS girls ditched Peterton somewhere. The Danneskold is not that a big ship, so there's little place where this guy could be hidden... On the other hand, perhaps they did lose the guy. He might be tickled out of his alien mind during the ordeal in the original series. Perhaps he's now spending his days restrained in a little white room of the Black Asteroid Insane Asylum. Perhaps mrs. Cackleclaws is just the head nurse, who personally administers his daily tickle therapy... not sure if the therapy helps, but they both seem to enjoy it! 😉
Ah, and the story by DEV is absolutely incredible. Me being the guy doing the art in the continued TIS series, I'd think I'd have a pretty good grasp of the universe, but this story fits in so perfectly, it was baffling. I mean, I know a lot about the continuity of the TIS universe, behind-the-screen stuff that the public is not to know (yet), and this story fits is so damn well in the whole, it's uncanny. It's jaw dropping.
Now, I'm usually not really into /m stuff... but occasionally I will enjoy a good f/m story. This story however is more than that. This is one of the rare kind of stories that I thoroughly enjoyed in both a literary and erotic sense. I mean, tell me, what guy doesn't fantasize about being the toy of the entire TIS crew? I say that Laxx is one damn lucky guy (and so is his AI buddy who's spending some quality time with Thompson)
As for writing style, that's perhaps the most mind-boggling thing of all. Somehow Dev nailed the TIS atmosphere, at least like I imagined it... Dusty's bedroom appeared to me just like I had it in mind already (and as it will be seen in TIS#2). Dimmed light, worn metal walls, soft bedsheets and a seductive captain. Dusty's attitude, for that matter is also carried over perfectly in this story. and all those other characters as well.
The attention to detail, right down to the run-down ship in which Laxx cruises the galaxy is staggering. The light-sarcastic tone that has become almost a trademark of Bandito's writing, is echoed here as well. This is not just fan-fiction, I dare say this is part of the TIS canon!
Just incredible... I'm having difficulty finding the right words for it, but it's absolutely amazing. I keep re-reading it. What a wonderful piece of tickle-literature... 🙂
