Here is my latest piece of work! 😀 It is to be sang, not read. It goes to the tune of "Piano Man" by Billy Joel!

It was 5 o’clock on a Thursday night
That I arrived in Philly, PA
I walked in the motel
And got my key
I was looking for friends on that day

As I approached the lounge I saw Kered
And my good ol’ friend Pokey was there
We were joined by dear Aimee
As young as a baby
It was then that I threw out my cares

Bring us a good time at NEST this year
Bring us some fun tonight
We will meet some new faces and greet some old
And then we’ll be feeling all right.

Now Casino night was just awesome
And I found out I had not a clue
How to play or to deal at the Craps Table
What the hell it was still pretty cool.

Robs Radio show was a hummin’
And the night saw all having fun
There were so many faces I had to see
That’s the end of day number one.

Day two I got to meet newbies
There were quite a lot with us this year
All the classes were simply incredible
And the evening was caped with a beer.

And the fun that we had on that Sunday
Could not have been better at all
There were parties and laughter
To last here after
Thank You Lee you answered the call.

Bring us a good time at NEST this year
Bring us some fun tonight
And we can’t forget Slacker slamming down
That bundle of fire CrystalLight.

It was a pretty good crowd for pizza night
I know I had a good time
I just want to thank you my dearest friends
My weekend was just out of sight.

And the memories and time will live with me
Till’ I’m long gone from this earth
You know that I am blessed to know you all
And I love you for all that it’s worth.

I had a great time at NEST this year
We can put this good book on the shelf
We will do it again in another year
At NEST 2012.

OK everyone. I am writing new poems. I have two repeat customers right now but I would love to have some new people. Don't be shy. Does not cost you a thing except your dignity 😀 Just kidding.
