Tormented Soles - The Original Thread.

I'm reading all this....Although i never took place in the RPG (due to lack of time)..i did follow it....i think the ideas expressed by both Cassandra and Kalamos are good ones. I would actually like to partake in the RPG this time, ill make sure i pay closer attention to when it starts :happy:
 
I can open a new Day/Location thread.

We can assume sun has finally set, and a new day is about to begin.
The nearest logical place for Cassandra's char to be is Bisanthium.

Most chars are the anyway, so we can safely assume it is the game's standard location, and continue from then on.
 
I would suggest that you keep on marching since you are the only non-GM player participating in this RPG. Or, if Kalamos has worked out a combat system, you can test it out before heading to Bisanthium. I'll use that time to establish my character's exact location.

By the way, I just looked through the free pics at the FM sites. I like those sites because they have both men and women tied up, and I don't think they will be too mad at us for using free preview pictures. Here's one pic, so that I can try out attaching files to my posts.

I believe Kalamos was in the middle of one of those tests in the thread i was in. Resetted an action. But because I'm in exams i've not been very busy with it for quite a while. Don't know what has been decided.
 
Hey Kalamos, how do I access the actual roleplaying threads from the Forums page? I go to Forums, I click on Tales of Aygomenia, but I cannot find the roleplaying threads (Day 01, Day 02, etc). Only the rules, storyline and this thread can be found. The only way I found the other topics was by searching.

Is that why no one is joining?
 
Okay, I see what's wrong here. At the bottom of the page, under Display Options, I had to change the "From the:" setting so that it will display older threads.
 
hey guys: anyone care to give me a rundown on whats been happening in the empire?
 
Well my char and his Legion have been ambushed. They're on their way to the capital. They suffered quite some attrition and currently are resuming their march. Hoping they will not be attacked again.
 
My char was recently discovered to have some kind of hidden power. She is currently imprisoned somewhere and will be brought to Bisanthium once Kalamos creates the thread.
 
I created a Day 05 a while ago. I called it "Story so far".
 
Nice to see that the game "seems" to be starting again...
I would like to sporadically join, even if I've not so much time lately.

That is where I post? I thought you were going to make a new thread for Bisanthium :happy: . Okay then, once I have a post done I'll put it up. If we are following my suggestions, we also need a way to direct every other character to where my char is.

I'm having some trouble thinking of a reason for my character, Rachel, to be brought out of the dungeon she was last seen in and taken to Bisanthium, while at the same time allowing other PCs to interact with her. Suppose she escaped from the dungeon, or was released by a guard who feared her newly discovered powers, and now there is a reward for bringing her back to that dungeon alive. What do you think?

kjiron/ticklish spirit, you're a ticklee too? I don't think a male lee will have much luck here, but you won't be left out. How about my char meeting your char after escaping or being released, and her new powers suddenly make her more sadistic?

My character and your character were trapped at the same place... maybe we could work something out.
 
Sure. Got any ideas?

I just thought of a reason to bring her to Bisanthium without escaping: her captors want to put her on display in that densely populated city and/or deliver her to the hands of a more skilled torturer (Tandy perhaps, if she's still around and not too busy with Rilina). Rachel won't be in a commoner's hangout like the tavern, but in a dungeon or someone's mansion. We just need a character, whether a PC or NPC, who will be taking her in.
