Unless otherwise stated...you should assume that it's someone need to speak to...you know, a friendly Mamono you can talk to...one that likes being tickled...
 
So anyway, what's next for Deus? I dont see a chapter 2 complete message yet.

But then again, tiara might just refer to the tickle fairy princess' tiara that you got from the admiral, and might not be the name of the nameless healing fairy at all. But hey, that might be just me.

Is that what you call constructive criticism? Did you pay anything for the game and I'm kind of a software pirate? Did you employ Deus? Did I get anything wrong?

You might know what you are talking about, but that quote up there is just arrogant and rude, being an example of "a few" of yours posts in this thread. It's great you are trying to add to the game, but work on the way you do it, will you?

@Deus - I absolutely enjoy playing the game, kind of an oldschool experience. Even though it can get pretty tedious sometimes, but I guess thats an engine-flaw. Keep up the great work! 😉
 
Yeah yeah I know but at the time there was a lot of stress.

And I don't think you're acting any different lashing out at me like that. Stick to the topic. I'm not up for any arguments.
 
Back to topic then - Are the Chapter 1 quests still lost if you proceed to Chapter 2? Because I read about sailors and fairy woods and never interacted with any, because everyone just told me to beat it. ^^

They shouldn't be, no. The only quest with a time limit is the Helpless Fairy Quest. If you defeat Honey Bee before helping the fairy, you'll be too late to save her.

The Sailor Quest you get in the Pub from the Admiral who you spoke to during the prologue.

Yes it is, I'm uploading a fix right now.

This has a fix to the Slayer Lethal Tickle glitch. The script wasn't working properly, so I changed it to a four turn cool-down instead of a three use maximum.

So far, so good with the game. Playing an archer at level 6 and breezed through the first floor, except the Ticklazon. She killed me once.

I tried to give Honey Bee a gift, but it says I have nothing, even though I have the perfect gift for her. Has it been implemented yet?

Loving the game so far. The monsters are adorable, the plot is intriguing and the game over scenes are sweet.

Also, here's a thumbs up for all the work you're doing. Two chapters in and you've already made people so mad that they break their keyboards writing a response to you. 😀

Well, I just beat the bosses in the first floor with my Archer character and had a pretty good time of it 😉 Ticklazon was the toughest part, honestly, which I thought was fascinating because she didn't do anything other than attack. Bebe was easier than the Slime, but that's also because I was toting about 17 Orange Juices by this point. The difficult feels just right, considering that I'm playing one of the easier classes, but maybe Bebe is just a little TOO easy of a fight... but that's just me 🙂 Don't go crazy giving her huge buffs because of that, hehe.

One thing I think you'll REALLY want to fix, though, is entering the tower itself... or, rather, preventing entry. See, I decided to be silly and explore, and I found that I could walk to the Tower as soon as I was able to walk through the forest, and Chapter 2 would immediately start and my quest log would complete for me without Chapter 1 ending. I seriously think that you'd want to put up some kind of wall, barrier, or simply a punishment that keeps players from doing this and mucking up the flow of the story 😉

All in all, though, it's looking great so far 🙂 I especially love that little choice you let the player make after getting free of the Slime. It really made it feel like a Role-playing game when you did that.
 
I heard there'd be class specific scenes in the bar game, so I started again with the thief. (being the upperbody fan I am). It's a bit harder with that class though. And I'm scared to try grinding, what with you saying that just makes bosses harder. But I finished em up eventually.
Gotta say losing that game with the thief is my new favorite scene in the game. (that and beating Honey Bee) :3 Very cute. *applause*
Think there'll be more class specific moments ahead?

Anyway, I'm gonna try downloading the new update without the restarting.

Noted the problem with the forest, and have fixed it, thanks for the heads up...can't believe I didn't think of that.

I have a question for you guys. Now I don't know when I'm going to get started on chapter 3. I do know that I'm going to do the tower stage first, then add the quests in afterward. The question I want to propose is this:

In the final version of the game, enemies will have a minimum level that varies by chapter, but will have a maximum level of 30. Meaning all enemies can go up to level 30. Would anyone be willing to try a version with this fully integrated? It's a very simple switch on my part, and I figured it wouldn't break too many balls given that Chapter 2 was vastly easier than I intended.

I will also, as an added bonus, tell you the code for "Easy Mode", if you'd like.

Also...as a bit of a warning. Before I released 3.2...I nerfed Beelzebebe quite a bit. Now, seeing as she was pretty much a joke, I've returned her to her unnerfed stats. When I release the next update, let me know if she's actually a challenge now.

You tickle tortured the Goblin Leader. She won't join you now (you heartless human you). Remember: It's rare to find a Mamono that likes being tickled. I'll give this hint: There are only 4 Mamono thus far that reflect positively on you when you tickle them.

Uploading a new beta as I write this but I ran into an issue that people with access to more sophisticated graphic editing software may be able to help me with. I am missing a few monster girls that I need for the game. If anyone wants to help me with this, the list is as follows:

Nightmare
Unicorn
Siren
Tengu
Wood Elf
Baphomet
Mandragora

And the biggest one I was shocked to find missing...the Mimic! There's a bit of a blank spot that could come up in the next update without a Mimic...but...just don't try to finish the Strange Chest quest >_>

Anyway, enough of my whining for help. Here's the next update:

This one has Mamono going up to level 30, a harder Beelzebebe, a slightly harder Slime, and a fix to the glitch that will let you start Chapter 2 before finishing Chapter 1.

I'm confused on what you mean. Doesn't the Cackling Cave have a mimic?
