First of all you added "of their own volition" to the statement that lesbians are rarely that good looking. They were being compared to porn actresses here. So what you said what that real life lesbians choose to not be as good looking as porn actresses. First of all, porn acrtesses (successful ones anyway) are going to be much more attractive than "average" women because that's what their career is based on. Only highly attractive women with excellent bodies would even bother persuing that line.
"real life lesbians" have every bit as much chance of being born "good looking". being "good looking" is not something you choose.

If they do not wish to get into it, they either don't call me out, or, before long, they call me long winded and then resign themselves thinking it's hopeless or whatever. That, or, before they begin, they ask me to keep it short knowing it will not be. It's one of those three outcomes, usually.

Though, this is NOT to be seen as the only way it can go down, since others have proven they are just as capable and willing to take it to my level, and surely they realize that effort involved, because they engage in it themselves.

Case in point- I will not give a shortened, alternate version for your sake or anyone looking for that. My posts are for everyone, but not everyone is willingly equipped. Not my problem.

I'm not going to get too into it, but I do think there was a fundamental misunderstanding:

One thing I think Vlad was trying to say was that, often, gay women in real life are not as appealing to *straight men* as the ones who are selected for lesbian porn, not that they are not good looking full stop or that they are not considered attractive by other non-male-porn-watching audiences. Not that I necessarily agree, but this is what I think he was trying to say, in contrast to what a lot of people took it for.

I would urge everyone to calm down, make up, and accept that we're dealing with what is for a lor of people a difficult issue and which opinion will always be divided on; there is no reason to get angry. We do, after all, and as far as I know, all support freedom of speech, and we don't want to develop a whole swathe of topics which are taboo and have to be stepped around in fear of an angry reaction.

Sorry for being someone with so little posts whose trying to play the parent, but this seems a little ridiculous.

If this is the case (though he seems to take offense at people interperating what he says, forcing us to use his exact words only) then it lessens the offensiveness of his statement a bit. My point still stands though, as it was directed at his wording and not the number of potential ways his words could be interperated.
I hate to be posting here yet again but I want to stress that I was not engaged in an argument. It was only a response to a statement he made with no intent of getting into a debate. I'd like to not post here further as it is ruining my original intent of saying my piece and leaving it at that. ^^ Thanks for your input though!

Everyone is being sarcastic here except me. That I refered to you as an opponent was merely in passing and was meant to be taken at face value. Since I have not lashed out once in this thread, I will afford myself a joke. Regardless of what you say, you are the one who pursued me, however.

The internet affords everyone perhaps the greatest luxury of all- the ability to completely IGNORE.

I am, perhaps, the most calm one here. Nothing I am saying is coming from a source of anger, a need for appeasment, or that I feel I'm owed something.

I am merely reacting to others. We are all like a line of dominoes here people. One knocks over the other and starts a chain reaction. To then complain about being a dominoe being used this way, is to complain about the nature of internet forums (essentially) and their inability to contain individuals in real-time and force a waiting period upon them.

Until someone changes the way the internet chat boards work, we just have to accept the reality.

You assume that is what I feel because my true feelings are as of yet not revealed to you. You therefore disassemble based on what you know, which is actually very little and is very hypothetical.

The basis for your claim requires you have some proof. All you have is your own conjecture based on how the mood of this thread has struck you.

As for the ATF, um, wrong.

I was not chased off. I left because it began to bore me. Everyone should know that because I repeatedly say that I forget the site exists sometimes. Since I do not go there often, save for posting artwork, it is an easy belief that I simply choose not to go there. The only way I'd be scared off a forum is if it was by force. No one ever forced me to do anything and I was not threatened by anyone to my knowledge.

I am a presense on the ATF, albeit that of a lurker. I see nothing of interest in the general discussions other than the artwork happening there.
