I just read in today's NY Post (I can't find the link) that Kiana Tom will appear in Playboy, I think in May, along with some MTV Real World and Road Rules veterans. It didn't say what they would be paid, but I wonder if this make it more or less likely that she would be receptive to something like a tickling video.
One one hand, it shows she's open to consider things that a lot people wouldn't; on the other hand, she may be too big league for this.

A reminder. We don't know yet who we'll end up tickling. But we are reasonable in our understanding that it wont be a star in the (grammys) sense of the word. No Michelle Phiefer. No Brittany Spears. No amount of money will make those types do it. So lets move on.
But our intentions are to get someone famous. Now famous is different then a "star" sometimes. A person can be famous and not be a star. The whole concept of this is to tickle someone that most all of us know of. Thats the excitement of it. Someone that everyone has heard about, read about, scene something about on TV. You have to agree with me that it would we so great!?

As much as I love and respect the work TC has done I have a strong feeling that this endeavor is doomed for failure. I just don't think you are going to find a "star" for $10k to do this. Kathy, I hope you prove me wrong and find someone famous who isn't too past her prime. If so I'd be willing to pay $100 for the video...

I think we may be going about this all wrong. Right now, we do not know who to expect, and how much it will cost. Maybe we should contant a few famous ladies and find out how much they would be willing to do it for. Then we would have a better idea of who we can get, and then we could decide how much we want to donate to get them. Personally, I would hate to donate 50 bucks and find out it is Tonya Harding or another woman I couldn't give a rat's ass about. If it was someone I really liked, on the other hand, I may be willing to donate as much as $250.00.

Right now I think it's the cart leading the horse. We don't know what type of "celeb" we are looking at, and the "8,000" figure seems like a random # somebody tossed out. The Tickler in Black said himself that he didn't know how much it would take. I think we should generate a list of potential celebs and contact them to see who we possible could get and how much it would cost. It's research that I think needs to be done. I want to say I think this is a great idea, and TC should be commended for it. They are taking a giant step, but I think we are in the dark a little bit. Just look at the suggestions. They are all over the place. I can understand some reluctance on TC's part. They do not want to approach a star with an offer, and not be able to deliver on that offer. I guess their needs to be some faith. I also have some suggestions(yes I have an opinion on everything) on the donations. Give some incentives, for example, the top 20 donation will recieve not only this video but a free TC video of their choice. The top 3 donations will be allowed to visit the set and meet the star of the video. The top donation will also have the chance to take part in the tickling of the celeb. I think this will go a long way and help on raising money.
What about B. Arthur from Golden Girls? I bet she could use some cash..

Ok, Firstly, I'm getting a credit card within the month, and the first charge to appear on my first statement will be this $50 (So don't put "TICKLE FETISH VIDEO PAYMENT" on it fs). And Secondly, this is my opinion, and i am not trying to inflict it upon anyone:
I don't think the victim should be a porn star, even if it isnt a "smutty" one because: For me, the whole attraction of this delightfully devious idea (god bless you Oblesklk and TC)is to see someone who is simply a normal actress tickled senseless. This is because (and this is the same reason that causes people to become unbeleivably infactuated with celebrities) When you watch a pretty actress in a normal TV program, there is a high narative content: This can so easily brew up little fantasies involving the fictional charaters that you are watching and learning about. For example - take Alyson Hannigan off Buffy. There may be pornstars out there who most people would argue are more attractive, with a "better" body etc.. but what (for me) makes Willow an infinately better catch is that i know her. Obviously, I don't know Ally Hannigan, but i know "Willow" almost as well as alot of girls i went to school with, and could only dream of torturing with touches to their feet. Now, i'm not saying we have more than a slim-to-none chance of netting a star everyone knows as well as her(no matter how mad and outgoing she is), but this is the point: The most amazing and beautiful thing about this will be seeing someone you know, react to the very first flick of a fingernail under the arch of her foot. we've all gotta face that facts that 99% of the female "stars" aren't going to be too keen on the idea of being exposed to such a "personal" idea. But i say, why not try?? even if they turn it down, what's the problem in finding out first hand?? you never know how "freaky" someone might be willing to get. Even if they reject it, at least we'll know it for sure...and i don't see any legal problems w/ doing it or anything like that...unless you would consider it solicitation, which most wouldn't. it's not sex, it's tickling...bottom line, if you ask and they reject, take the words of the late Aaliyah.."...dust yourself off and try again." because you just never know...😕

If you are unable to find an "acceptable" ticklee, and the video is not made, I am sure you will refund everyone's money, as you are honorable people. But I for one, do not want my money back. Keep it for the time when the right person is found to combine with this project. The type of groundswell you have begun may be hard to duplicate again, especially if your "investors" feel disillusioned.
Personally, my donation is an investment in the possibility that this "might" happen. As a tickle fetishist for 30 years (and I'm only 39), I remember the days of finding a tickling article in Penthouse Variations, and believing I had found the Holy Grail. The explosion of tickling media and material available today is nothing less than miraculous, and I for one, would be extremely gratified to be a part of a major step like this project, no matter how long it takes. Let's just be patient and get it right.

Here's an idea. Why not call Stern up and ask for some help. He has shown an interest in the community, and I think the reason girls jump in the tickle chair has less to do with money and more to do with the fact that it's Stern, and thus a publicity dream. He put Yaqi on his show, and he would probably jump at the chance to see a female celebrity really tickled.
What about one of the two older sisters on full house? I'm sure they're not doing anything these days. Also, Maria Carry seems to be heading the downward spiral pretty fast.
As for personal suggestion on the film itself, F/F is a must! Also, a full range of body tickling would statify everyones taste. I personal love to see feet in pantyhose get tickled so maybe have her start by wearing hose and then later have it removed.
