Sorry for lack of update, I've been rather sick lately, so I haven't been able to come here... damn my heart.

Well I will be doing a short demo for next sunday so that should give you some insight what the game will be about.

Here in Europe this has been a MASSIVE HOT SUMMER too... about 5 anti-cyclon from Sahara Desert come to visit southern Europe this summer... man, I've never been so sufferent because of the hot weather!! And this week-end things will only come worst!! UGH!!

By the way, I really hope you can be ok soon, and... well, thank you so much about the demo, but work on it only if you're really ok, gotcha??

I'm an Italian motherlanguage, so probably my English is not so fluent, but I don't think I speak that way man... 🙂

Oh, and thank you for the info about "real life". Being a 29 years man, working 8/24 5/7 I really didn't know about the existentce of a thinbg called "real life"!! 🙂 🙂 😀

I am really sorry about lack of update, but I did get sicker, plus I have huge scientific convention where I am supposed to present some new invention and between those there are my studies. So what is left of my strength I muster to do snails steps in any project as I have few now.

I've been doing sprites for Alice, will see if I am going to post them as a spoiler or not though. I think only music will be unoriginal, though I am still capturing some people who have their ways around music.

Also I've been involved in making a series of manga with Bondage fan-service theme. I will inform you when I release first chapter as I have requested that I am allowed to add tickling in any of my works.

Still for now I am unfortunately coming empty handed here. Please have patience. Thank you.

Yes, I am a special educator, but only for deaf and near deaf people. The thing I invented is not so strange in America, but we didn't have it here, so I developed it so we can save thousands of dollars on useless equipment. Nothing too major, but I hope it will help my branch.

Also no... I am not most interesting Man of the world. You could find me amongst most interesting Girls though, I am hiding like Waldo.

The project will be mine and free, like anything else I do, though I am not above refusing some help in area's where I am weak, with added thanks and possibly interaction inside the game for helpers. Still I am planning on working on Alice for long time, so it's understandable I am ambitious.

I was just curious of know how was the project, since you mentioned a certain day, and you seemed quite sure about last week-end as release days... In fact, believe it or not, I was a little scary about your conditions, considering you doesn't post a line, while only some days before you were quite sure about posting a demo... that's the main reason of my question.

Finally I got some free time to do some updates. First let me update you about something from my personal life that might interest some people and might influence the game. I will elaborate how later on.

I attended scientific congress today, did my oral presentation and earned respect of amphitheater full of my senior colleges and professors. My mentor is going to see to get University to fund my project and develop it highest degree with me still as leading author. I also got a chance to work side by side with Ministry of Education on some great projects which will do me good when I get to finding a stable job.

What does this mean for Alice game? Well for now it means I am free of everything I had to do. I AM FREE! I can work on it with peaceful heart and I will take decent time to make decent game for you guys. This also means I will be learning to program in some other languages too, so I might one day make games on different platforms as well. Who knows. For now I continue working on Alice.

My recommendation re picking other languages is to determine the type of game you want to make and then check for good frameworks, bindings, and/or available libraries. Reinventing wheels sucks.

Well that's for future. Let's concentrate onto Alice for now. This week I will work on it and hopefully finish all of ideas I have for it.
