What Film Makes You Cry

The ending of Saving Private Ryan where Tom Hanks character tells him to " earn this " * talking about freedom * and Ryan years later asking his wife is he was a good man .

My Mother took me to this movie and when she told me that Bambi's Mother was killed, it made me sad.:dropatear

Sorry, had to do it🙂

not a movie, but the anime series "Air" (AKA Air TV) had my crying multiple times. Kind'a ironic that it was originally a hentai visual novel. Still, it's a testament that porn can be made into something incredible.

I remember my mom telling me when she brought me to see The Neverending Story, I started crying when the poor horse drowned in the swamp. Some years later, I watched it in summer camp without any problems.

Now, don't any of you dare laugh at this, but...

There was one scene in Who Framed Roger Rabbit that made me really upset when I first saw it. Granted, I am autistic, which means I have the mind of a younger person at times, and being only eight meant I might have had the mind of a five year old or something. I think you know what I mean. To this day, I still can't even think of watching it, because of how disturbing I found it.

When Jenny died in Forrest Gump. That was a scene that made me cry. Though we all knew she was going to die, I guess I got caught up in the moment.

I had to run to the bathroom after that movie ended because of that scene (My wife would of never let me live it down) It made me so stinkin angry too because he tried so damned hard to get her and when he finally does, she dies. Curse the fates and curses to the author of the book/screenplay!

Tuesday's with Morrine. The book and film made me cry...I really should stop admitting to these:xpeepsofa LOL

Terms of endearment, the part when at the end the little kid tried to stay strong, even though she was gonna die

Ol Yeller- when they killed him made me sad🙁

Star Wars - The Phantom Menace.... WHY?!?! :cry1:

The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas.... UHG 🙁 oh and we can add Dear John to that list, the damn book made me cry I can only imagine what the movie will do

Casablanca, try watching it all the way through without the commercials. :happycry:

Jaws... when Quint got it... I mean, did he really deserve such a horrible fate? :sadcry:

But really...

Crash
Carlito's Way... poetic in the end I know, but just nooooooo!!!
Shawshank Redemption.... just an epic movie
Terms of Endearment... gonna have to agree with NT on that one
Steel Magnolias... total tear jerker, and yes I watched it 😛

The one that comes to mind is the end of Field of Dreams when he plays catch with his father. To me, it's a pure expression of the bond between father and son and reminds of when I was a boy playing cacth with my father.

He passed away four years ago, far too young, and it just brings all of those emtions to the surface.

I always cry at the end of About Schmidt,
and at the end of Man on Fire with Denzel Washington.
