What Film Makes You Cry

I always get sad at the end of Godzilla vs Destroyah.

Gosh, which "cry- movie" doesn't? xD I admit, I'm a sucker for those things. 😱

First of all, the "traditional" ones like Titanic, Ps. I Love you and Brokeback Mountain.

Then Uptown Girls (more of joy than sadness, but still, it happens EVERYTIME I see it 😛), the latest Harry Potter movies (sometimes joy, sometimes sadness. Not everytime though, mostly happend when I first saw them. Now I'm too used to them. xD), etc 😛

I cry at the end of Blade Runner if I'm watching it drunk, just as he says "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain." I feel like I can relate to that, but I'm not sure how.

I guess I will put my emotional moments out there as well.

I cry at the end of Saving Private Ryan, and durring the movie Radio.(I do mean that I weap durring almost the entire movie.) I am sure I will think of a few more.

I have ego issues crying cause of a movie, or well, in front of anyone. I also avoid depressing movies. But there are movies that have got me very near tears:

titanic (i only stopped crying once I turned 17) LOL
I teared when i saw the dog die in 'I am legend'
Armageddon

OH..... I also cried at the end of Godzilla when the monster was killed. I had to be taken out of the hall. Ya I was probably 9 (in 1999).

Ya I can't think of anymore. A lot of movies have been mentioned too.

Marley And Me. The part where Marley is put to sleep makes me bawl like a baby.

Love Story-From 1970-One of my all time favorite movies, and many tearjerking scenes.

A Walk To Remember-especially the part where Mandy Moore's character reveals she is sick.

Mitch

Did I mention Marley & Me??? Yes, yes I did. Shit, I can't even think about it without crying. I sobbed in the theater lol.

Another one that gets me is Brian's Song. 🙁

Life of Brian. I cried of laughter whenever "Biggus Dickus" was mentioned. :rowfull:

The movie The Bucket List in the hospital scene when Jack Nicholson's character was told he had 6 months to a year to live

"Ace Ventura 1"... some parts made me cry with laughter (especially when Jim Carrey investigates about the graduation ring).

The scene on the bridge in It's A Wonderful Life when Jimmy Stewarts character ( George Bailey ) asks to live again and it begins to snow

Schindler's List Or Saving Private Ryan.

Ryan during the grave scenes with the old man.. I mean that scene hits you so hard to imagine the sacrifice men made just so you can live on with your life.

Schindler's when he was given the ring at the end and he goes on how he could've saved more Jews. I mean it is SO SAD to think about that. A Man who made a decision to save people but for a long time had turned a blind eye and to think of just saving ONE MORE LIFE... Makes me get teary eyed thinking of it.

The Elephant Man...the part where he is being attacked, and ridiculed and shouts, "I am not an animal!" I cried so hard for him...and felt angry that this "phrase" is often the brunt of much amusement and laughter when in fact it was a very sad scene in the movie and supposedly a fairly accurate depiction of his life. I wept like a baby and had to pause it until I recovered.

Million Dollar Baby, one of Clint Eastwood's best directed and acted. Very sad movie.
