What Kind of Stories Do You Think There Should Be More Of?

Definatley interactive tickling stories is what I'd love to see more of. There was one on Josie the Ticklish Pussycat's site that was really cool. I think there should be more like that.

I'm just about done with the second part to my story. Expect it in a week or so. 🙂 (I'm in the Army, and currently deployed to NTC training, so it might be a bit longer... 🙁 )

...I also have a sci-fi fantasy in the works(Nexus: Krysta's Journey to the Stars), and based on this thread I may be catering to a minority. Seems the whole alien-kidnapping, machine-based tickling may not be for everyone. 🙂 But I loved BOF's "Do androids dream of electric tickles" and other tentacle/mechanical based tickling. It's exotic, weird and shocks the imagination, because such tickling is not truly possible. I wonder if the human body could tolerate such random stimuli... hmm... 🙂

As an author, I pose a question to you all...

As a reader, sometimes I find myself, as I'm sure others do in skipping to certain parts of a story to find the 'meat' per say. Do you like a story to have an epic tale in the tickling fiction, or more focused on the tickling. If said plot was very tickling intensive, would you mind it even if it wasn't an actual tickling situation? In my Sci-Fi story, I'm creating a tickling universe, and is more than just a brief tickle here and there, I wonder if there is interest in something that deep... 🙂

Let us know! 🙂

Ace, I like all kinds of tickling stories, but the ones with a good, complex plot are my favorites and a lot of the stuff I've come up with lately is pretty plot-intensive with only one or two tickle scenes.... I think there will be interest in what you are writing 🙂

*edit* I also forgot to add, the first tickling story I ever posted on the TMF was an alien abduction/machine-tickling story! So while it may not be the favorite, I know there are other people who feel the same way you described about that kind of story 😀 If you wanna read it here's the link:

Or more to this point - I've read complaints that there's too many stories about elves & aliens & fantastical machines, and hardly any "realistic" mainstream or historical tickling fiction. By people who prefer the later, of course 🙂

The only really unrealistic thing done is the weights on women. The majority of stories have the women weigh much too little for their heights and yet still expect them to look like women. It just doesn't work that way.

At 5' 3" with a small bone frame I should weigh 135 - granted, at 252 I weigh much more then that - but that's the minimum I should weigh. A woman who's nearly 6 feet tall and weighs less then that is not going to look like a woman, she's going to look like a prepubesent 12 year old boy. No boobs, no butt, no nice curves at all. She should weigh at the least 140, perhaps 145.

And frankly, sometimes the description of a fantasy woman who is so thin, well, for me (who's overly sensitive anyway) is painful emotionally and ruins the story no matter how well written.

I also still feel there's too many stories about women like Hillary Duff and other untalented individuals.

I go back to what I said before - no matter what the setting and be it M/f or F/f I'd like to see more consensual romantic stories. Stories where they're not physically perfect according to society's standards. But are perfect to each other because they're in love. I try to write them myself, but I've never been in love, so I don't really know what I'm doing when I try to write about people in love.

Is a little romance between a guy who's a bit of a nerd and a woman who has a butt that's a little bigger then most people would accept or a belly that is rounded instead of flat too much ask? I think not.

Drawing tickling art for a few years now you see alot of peoples work..and you grow a taste for ether the nice or the nasty..or like me..a compromise!

Nasty and sadistic tickle torture has the advantage of the use of toys - aliens - machines and so on and so forth. However the sadistics and the ticklee being nothing more then a disposable item makes me a sad little roo boy.

Nice tickle torture has the love and compassion im looking for.. but sadly it's usualy poor in content and doesn't deliver the goods in my eyes. Being tickled on a bed is all well and good but that instills 90% of this type. This also makes me a sad little roo.

What i love is the rarist of all.

Mercless and creative tickle torture where the lee is valued..where she/he is adored and loved. And in the end she/he loves the things done.

We need more of that!! A few of my pictures will illistrate my point further.

those are fantastic drawings..very detailed..you should write a story involving each of those scenarios..

I generally avoid giving weights; I'll give height, and general build, but leave off the "she tipped the scales at ### pounds." I'm not good at visualizing appearances from weight numbers, so I avoid giving myself the opportunity to screw it up 🙂

It really wasn't aimed directly at you - I was just in a mood because I opened a story where the woman was nearly 6 feet all but much too thin for her height. You know, Mastertank1 and I shouldn't be the only ones brave enough to write about women who are heaftier then society approves of.

well in my eyes I can truthfully say

I have not read 90-905% of the stories made this year. and even the 5-10% I do some of them I skip the story part because its either to generic or just plain crappy. I know the what the problem is. People are to nice here, no one wants to criticize anyone and look like the bad guy. I have been doing this tact too, but with the lack of any at least decent stories now...

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but personally I'm afraid to give anyone a true criquie of their stories because it just takes one person thinking you're attacking them to report you to a mod. And while the mods might not find anything wrong with what you say repeated reports might cause trouble. It's amazing how people will take the most innocent thing the wrong way.

I'm usually not a big fan of furry art, but you got talent guy. Awesome drawings! Big fan of the first one. >)

I like this thread, it's really eye-opening. For the longest I haven't bothered with writing because I tend to over-do it with plot intensive story-lines...

...and yet I see the quicker tales get such huge accolades, and most of the longer stories to be preety abandoned when it comes to replies or views. It's preety saddening.

Try your best to always reply to a story you like, most unfortunately, the posts with the most replies, tend to get more views. A good gem can sometimes be hidden due to a 0 reply to it, and never even gets clicked on. Even if it's a bad critique, it's a comment, and might lead to someone who WOULD like the story, to actually click on it, due to the commentary, and might have a differing opinion. 🙂

Due to this thread, which I appreciate you creating OP, I think I very much might get back into my old hobby. 🙂 Thank you.

SableSword: Your Hyperticklish story is freaking amazing. I am ashamed to have missed it. Simply ashamed.

Sadistic brutal non-consensual torture tickling.

you should check out jkb's felicia the cheerleader series...plenty of sadistic, brutal non-consensual tickle torture in those stories..also Shadowtklr and Invisible Ink can write those types very well..

TicklerDAE, critizing people can be VERY damaging! Especially in the earlier stages. We complete agree that overrall with the absence of the truly great tickle writers the quality has slipped, but the 5-10% is usually very good, due to writers learned from others. We prefer to compliment and gently, very gently add constructive ideas to turn good into great!

I think most writers would agree though: any feedback, is better than none. :/ When one gets no replies, he would assume that the visit was too brief for a guest to even bother with one. I would rather get a negative critique, to better understand why such a lack of response, than to bash my head in wondering the next time I sit at the desk. :wow:

Writing is fun, but it's never fun to consistently produce stories just to find them each having the same lack of response, due to repeating the same mistakes. (Too long, not enough description, cheesy story-lines, lack of spell-checking, etc.)

i think that females tend to get more feedback than males on their stories, which isn't right but unfortunately is a fact..i myself post on those stories that i feel are well written and have a plot, other than just getting right into a tickling scene. i myself like the longer stories, means the writer has taken the time to produce something worthy to be read..the spelling check is an issue..and the correct format also..which both i had to learn as i posted my stories..

People receive much more harsh critism then from the work they do on they re stories. And if they cannot take it then maybe they should not try, because not everything you do can be perfect.

As for women getting more replies, thats just some guys on the internet...being guys on the internet. They might think that by replying something will happen. I would go more into this but its not worth the time. It's just something that will happen and continue to happen.

Personally if you make a story I would implore you put what is in it. By putting it in the title. Because I do not like being dissapointed.

ex: "said title"(FM/F, "feet, armpits, breast")

right there will tell me if I want to read it instead of reading a good/bad story to get to the tickling part that focuses on a part I grow tired of reading about(FEET duh). This critism goes to all writters because this mistake have been made by some of the good ones as well.

Not everyone likes their stories forcused on the feet. I know foot fetish dominates the forum now but some people like other spots too. Can we get more stuff, artwork and video producers too, get some more tickling products done on spots on the upperbody or hip/thigh area?

I am done with my rant.

Would "all over" be sufficient to indicate that tickling is not focused on in a single location, even if it is not literally all over the body? For example, if a chapter has feet, knees, thighs, butt, privates and belly tickling, that excludes a great deal, yet that's a rather substantial list, and "lower body" in some people's minds equals "feet."

nope because what tends to happen is they say all over, but still give a great amount of detail to the feet anyway.

Well, here's an example from chapter 1 of one of my stories: there's feet, butt, privates, breasts, armpits, ribs, and belly tickling. Feet occupies less than twenty percent of the overall tickling described in the chapter. How would you suggest this be incorporated to best inform potential readers?

Psh, not me. All I get is a "good show" and a high five.

Orange you always get comments on your stories in the chatroom so stop ya whinning.

Tar and other writters just do what ya want, its just what I would want to see. Not like anyone really cares so whatever.

But I do care. I believe that most presented opinions often represent a fairly substantial number of people who feel likewise but choose not to speak up. You've spoken a bit to a (slight) frustration I've had, with the pedo-centric attitudes prevalent in our community. It seems like many times you hear "All kinds of tickling!" and you ask for specifics and get "All kinds! We tickle bare feet, feet in stockings, feet in nylons, feet with feathers, feet with fingers, feet with back scratchers, feet with hairbrushes, all kinds!" I like foot tickling the same way I like cheeseburgers, but I don't want cheeseburgers at every meal.

So I am honestly asking what your opinion is. What really is the way to effectively communicate content given finite title limits? Is there a good shorthand we can come up with?

Just one girl's opinion, but I'd rather the story descriptions not center quite so much on the type of tickling. I can see giving the genders, because the various mixes distress some people. But I'd rather get more into the stories themselves and their quality, rather than scanning all over looking for cuticle tickling, or whatever matches my specific tickling preference.

On the other hand, you can't very well ask an author to rate their story's quality...
