What Kind of Stories Do You Think There Should Be More Of?

Just to clarify, I was/am referring to the community as a whole, not merely the limitations of the story forum. If anything, I think the fiction community's more open to exploring further afield than elsewhere. By way of illustration, I posted four sets of pictures I had drawn over the course of a month, all of which included different positions and different parts of the body getting tickled, but only one of those included the feet -'cause I don't draw feet well- which prompted the reaction "all alike... all alike..." By contrast, you can find probably at least two new pics every day of a girl in a straight-backed sitting position with her feet bound in front of her with either a rope or stocks having them feathered, and no one would think to comment "all alike" to it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking foot-tickling (since I do), or even liking foot-tickling to the exclusion of all else, but because of its predominance in the community its overexposure leads to its own detriment in the minds of those who are not focused prominently on the feet.

But, of course, I'm not trying to be divisive; Lord knows the community's small enough without dividing ourselves into camps. 🙂 I think mini-reviews would definitely be a good idea to solve a lot of the issues in this thread, such as the targets, the overall quality of the piece, what kind of nook it fits into, etc.

*shrugs* Feet are more interesting. Feet wiggle, feet squirm, feet hang limply. Armpits, breasts, butts, stomaches, ribs, they do none of that. They just stay in one place. You can be more descriptive with feet.

Plus there seems to be a prudish attitude about feet, making them more of a forbidden fruit.

I try to start out upper body, but feet are where I'll always end and if people don't like it, tough. Feet are more fun.

I just want to see more realistic looking people and more romantic tickling. I wish I wasn't the only one but apparently I am.

I apreciate that tar and I will be looking to see your next work as well as yours sable. Not all writters, artists, and producers would take the time to discuss this. Again I thank you. But at the same time you cannot deny that the forum does have more foot related tickling then all the other ones combined.

One example is when producers make videos dedicated to just foot tickling. I have not seen many or even any dedicated to just another spot.

As for lurker that there kind of attitude is why I have a the kind of attitude towards feet tickling. I do not see anythingw rong about liking it, I like it every once in awhile just like any other spot. But for you lurker the attitude you show to other areas are what I do not like. Notice I just said attitude and nothing more.

For me, writing is an escape, the TMF, a gateway into a side of myself I find rather lacking in foundation. It needs more wood, to the fire, and I think people like Isabeau, who come here every day and help feed this fire for all of us definately need to be shown appreciation.

...as I said earlier in this thread, I beleive feedback, positive or negative from anyone is so important. Not just for the earlier stages, but through every stage. We are not so important that we see royalties come in the mail. We are not so glorious that we do press releases before every post.

We, are a quiet source, and even our biggest accolade is a relatively small drop in the grand puddle that is this world of ours. However, this drop falls sometimes in very empty rooms, and the ripples that ebb from it ring against the walls of that which released the passion in making us write in the first place.

The positive comments, a stroke of a hand along the surface of the pond, while the negative, a skipping rock that crashes into our pride, but it ebbs, it ebbs strong and it pissed me off that due to lack of time, because of this job that tries at every turn to strip the life out of me, both metaphorically and realistically, that I abused those in which I serve with both pen and heart here.

...at what point to I succumb to that which tells you "No! You can't do that"? How long must one fight that which judges you? The internet, here in this field cafe was down last night after recently submitting my second story to my friend in El Paso over email (Pride and Suffering), and I didn't have much time to browse the forums. I just came here 30 minutes ago, to have the confirmation that which I feared, would occur.

I wish I had the freedom in real life, that some do. Even now I have orders to Iraq over my head sometime before Christmas. ^^ (I'll have to email gifts early.), but I have my writing to look forward to. I'll have plenty of time in the dunes, hopefully, to fall into my thoughts, for I won't have much to do regardless out in the dimly lit tents of the 1rst Cavalry. 🙂 I wish I had the time to truly respond, and provide to all of you in the way you deserved.

...but it's not easy. ^^ Yes, I signed up for this, but it makes it no easier. I truly regret breaking, my own, number 1 rule. However, it was not by my hand that the sword was swung, I just wish I was there to stop it.

i for one, always appreciate feedback, positive or negative. i have been fortunate that i have received many positive responses, but i have had negative ones as well (in a private message). to all of my readers, please feel free to give me feedback. i can probably speak for other writers that feedback keeps us motivated to write.

i can understand other story fans that want to see a certain type of tickling, whether it is foot tickling, armpit tickling, belly tickling, F/F, M/F, F/M, and even M/M. foot tickling has always been the largest type of tickling found in stories, so i can understand others wanting to see different types. i think it's because the writers write what they like. i am personally a huge fan of F/F, feet tickling, and erotic tickling. it's my fantasy, so i am going to write about it. although i do enjoy tickling of other areas as well. i think if the story is well written, people will enjoy it. but as a foot tickling fan, if i read a story that does not involve foot tickling, i will like it, but will still feel as though something is "missing". i can understand the feelings of those who do not like foot tickling as much as others.

Tickler DAE has been a great fan of mine and i know he has told me what he likes to see. actually because of him, i do try to write more tickling scenes with the other body parts and try to write less about the feet. it is difficult to me, but i try my best to please everyone. i take it as a challenge to write more about other ticklish body parts and i hope i have improved in those fans eyes. Tickler DAE, out of curiousity, have i improved in the areas you told me about? or do you feel that i am still a "foot tickling only" type of guy? be honest. you know i have nothing but love....

I actually understand the frustration of Tickler_DAE, and no offense, but when people say something is under 20%, it usually means that the quantitative figure is close to, but not at 20%. So if a person says that feet tickling is less than 20%, it may mean that feet tickling is 18% of the story, but it is STILL a rather unproportioned chunk if there are 9 or 10 other places being tickled within the story... this is from a mathematical standpoint.

If those remaining locations were evenly split, that would be the case. However, in the story in question roughly equal amounts of space was devoted to two other zones, and the remaining forty percent shared among the rest. So while there is a disproportionate distribution, it isn't biased towards any one place, and I think it's fair to call such a piece "all over" tickling; 120 words out of 1500 isn't a lot, but it's not something to dismiss either, as I'm sure the ticklee would be the first to acknowledge. 🙂

Primetime how have you been doing? I would think damn good. Even before the changes you have started doing I have liked your work. The thing you do is you make such good storylines in your story that when it gets to the foot tickling I actually do not mind, heck I like it the way you do it. When you started involving other parts more often it has been gold. But I must admit that I have not found the time to read of few of your new stories. I have not been able to catch up to your wrestling series and ticklish nerd series as well. If there is one knock against you now is that you dropped away from your behind the walls series. I have alot of your work to catch up on.


If any other knock I would have against any other kind of story is the kidnaping ones, tickle someone to become their slave, and the tickle blackmail to make them do what you want stories. That is all for now.

thanks for the feedback. thanks to you, i have tried to make a committment to including all the other body parts in the stories. foot tickling will always be my #1 passion, followed by erotic tickling, but i find myself writing more about armpits, the stomach and ribs. as for the wrestling series, that series will be harder to resume because of the amount of time it takes. i do want to resume it as it was actually my personal favorite series to write, but it is harder. i do plan to bring back another episode of "Behind the Walls" as well as "The Basement". whenever you do have time, feel free to look in my archives. i hope you enjoy the stories...

personally, i feel a lot of stories are the males view, tickling the female, or the females view, being tickled. In all the stories the ‘victim’ is to wet themselves, focusing on this towards the end of the story. Especially in the Joanne story where you see her change from fearless, arrogant and cocky bitch to babbling, squirming little girl.



I relise these ideas/request require a lot of work to them, feel free to change characters or elements if you wish to do so.

What ruins tickling stories:
-undescriptive language such as: NOOOOO EEEEE HAHAHAH NOT THERE!!! repeated over and over. Its called description. How about writing "she protested the ticklish onslught with all the strength the she could muster" or something...
-crude language: ****, twat, cock etc. I don't mind the other ones, but there must be a more eloquent way to describe those parts of the body. Seeing words like that, IMO ruin the story.
-emphasis on feet.

-bad grammar

I agree with a lot that's been said on this topic: more erotic than pornographic, more intelligence to the stories, more plot, more characterization, etc. Not just page after page of "HAHAHAHAHAHAOHGODPLEASESTOPHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" I sent my first story ("Blood and Laughter") to Jake Redder (when he was still active in the community) to get his evaluation, and I'll never forget what he said: "This isn't really a masturbation story. In fact, I'd say it's more sophisticated than most stories out there." That word has stuck with me ever since: sophisticated. Something that stimulates the mind as well as the hormones.

I have posted "Hopewell's last Confession" on non-tickling message boards and have read it in open mike sessions. Feedback (positive or negative) is often hard to come by, but a few people seem to appreciate my efforts. 🙂
