Whatchu playing?

Well what about limitations? I personally couldn't stand for DC Onlines limitations as a free to play. I mean technically you can play for free, but to really get anything in game you need to purchase (Such as character limit, trade restrictions)

Had this issue with Dragon Nest. Loved the game. Was fun and fast, played like a fighting game with how responsive the controls were and addictive the combat system was. Sadly, you have to buy bag space with real money, and if you want to do any kind of progress later in the game, you have to spend tons of money on scrolls to keep yourself alive, and special items that keep your items from breaking when you upgrade them. Korean mmos all try to rob you, and it's sad because the game's can be really fun if not for the cash grabs. Nexon just ruins games, they're pretty much doing the same to Vindictus.

I play League of Legends a lot. It's pretty much the only free to play game out there that isn't pay to win, at all, even in the slightest. Everything can be bought with ingame points, and they're not even hard to get. Everything but skins, and that's cosmetic anyway. You get a ton of champs for free to play per week, etc. Just depends if you like the playstyle, which can be really deep but unforgiving since it's all a team game.

Yeah the game I was playing from Nexon before this that literally just closed down today (Dungeon Fighter Online) Also really felt like a pay to win game. I am pretty happy with Vindictus though as I do good without paying a thing.

This is not really on the point of the thread, BUT-

Is it wierd that I get fantasies of tickling basically ANY female superhero/villain/sexy protagonist that appears in virtually ANY video game I find myself playing? (Or having her tickling me?) (Chloe and Elena from UNCHARTED 2 just sprang to my mind in this second connection...Chloe especially, 'cos she would be merciless....)

I ended up playing Marvel Heroes... for all of an hour. I gotta say I knew it was a free to play going in but that is just.. wow. It'd cost you the price of two other new releases to unlock the heroes you actually wanted to play with, the heroes that you know, you downloaded the game for in the first place.

So busy with family stuff lately that I have barely played anything; but I am now 89% complete with The Last Of Us (NO SPOILERS PLEASE!) and when I picked it up I pre-ordered BATMAN: Arkham Origins for this fall.

Looking forward to PS4 like an SOB!!!

Playing through Assassin's Creed: Revelations at the moment on the XB360.

Did not even know that was a thing, I am intrigued.

Arkham Origins will be a "young" Batman, pre- Arkham Asylum/ Arkham City, when he is just starting out & will even have to fight corrupt Gotham PD (I have read)- I am picturing "Batman: Year One" as a video game. I am very very eager, it's due out in November for the current console generation. Just in time for my birthday! Rockstar is not producing but they are helping out. There is also a side-scrolling Batman game for PS Vita due out at the same time. (Do the Chinese call this The Year of the Bat?)

STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT To Return to Consoles!!!!

Reading Game Informer's E3 issue, I found possibly the most exciting announcement since the launch of the PS4-

EA Studios is developing a new installment of the legendary STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT for the next generation of consoles!

I can't wait to shoot Ewoks on my PS4...

Steam Sale ravaged my wallet. I bought:

- Borderlands 2
- The Walking Dead
- Dishonored
- Awesomenauts
- Spec Ops: The Line
- Kerbal Space Program

I've played a little bit of Dishonored, but I love Kerbal Space Program - I never grew out of my astronaut phase, I suppose, and I've always been a fan of building things!

I finished "The Last Of Us".... or maybe it finished me. What an ending.

I just seen a commercial for Pikmin 3. I want it but don't want a Wii U :c

On an unrelated note here's the aftermath of a battle in Vindictus

Because of boredom I'm going back through the Assassin's Creed series....again.

Nothing, actually. I'm bored but just can't get anything going. I'll probably wait till I can go online then just dick around on Dark Souls/Dragon's Dogma till GTAV comes out.

For sandbox games this is going to have the biggest map ever. Like more than Andreas and IV combined.
I just want it to have a scope more along the lines of SA. IV was technically bigger but when most everything is the same as compared to SA's 3 cities and 2 countrysides with various small towns, it feels smaller. Fortunately it does.

Oh man, IV was the worst one of the series IMO. V is supposed to be the best of the series which for me still goes to Vice City as the best. Had a huge Scarface feel to it.

Red Dead Redemption was bigger than GTA IV, and so the news that GTA V is five times the size of it is a pretty impressive statistic.

Not only does GTA V make RDR look like a countryside park, it also dwarfs San Andreas and Liberty City, setting of GTA IV.

GTA V is bigger in scale than all three of those games combined, which really gives you a feel of just how massive this game is going to be.

It's also got sharks so yeah, game of the year.
