I too am not a fan of celery, but I have one question for those of you who hate it too, if it hasn't been asked already. Why when I order a good COLD beer and a dozen hot wings do they always put slices of celery on the wing plate. The answer is probably obvious, but since I don't eat celery, I never really thought of it until now. Thanx

Celery is the miracle food of the 21st century:

1. mostly water. when dying of thirst in the desert, head for the closest celery patch.

2. lots of fiber, keeps many internal mechanisms operating within factory specs.

3. cleans the teeth, saving on dentist bills.

4. makes a great garnish in a Bloody Mary.

5. packed with vitamins. ok not really but still tastes yummy when drowned in ranch dressing 😀

Now that you mentioned it, there are certain things that we shouldn't mention
but are mentioned anyway, though the THREAD is ^99 good about not mentioning anything at all.

Yeah amk, I just ate a piece without the ranch dressing.

Sorta like grabbing a snack from the brown yard-waste recycle bin.

That's just a minor downside, considering celery's other miraculous benefits. 😀
