I have started the South Beach Diet. And in the first phase mostly all you can eat is veggies. Well celery was one of the ones I chose because it really was fond of it. Well Now I really cant stand it, because I couldnt put peanut butter on it, and had to eat it straight up...bleh.
But I still do kinda like it lol

I can see you are from Pa Some people in my family put PB on celery I still won't eat celery with PB on it 😛

I am mostly ambivelent toward celery, however, I will happily tolerate it as a side to my buffalo-wings order with some ranch-sauce, or as a snack with some peanut-butter.
And of course, it's integral for Thanksgiving stuffing recipes, and oh dear GOD how I love stuffing...

I dunno enough about the fennel to comment. Is it the one that tastes vaguely like black licerice, or am I thinking of anise?
Either way, I haven't the slightest how to go about incorporating either into a meal.

I kind of like celery, but I've found every Chinese restaurant nearby including more celery and less meat in their entrees. It must be for cost, but darn it, I like my meat, too! And much more so than celery!
