Question for you, Alex the Great...in the second pic who is that girl in the right foreground? Also in the thirsd pic who is the girl just to the right of Naru? I don't think I've seen them before. I havent finished the series yet...do they appear later or am I losing it?

In the third, img90....I believe that is Kanako Urashima, Keitaro's sister. As to the second one, img89.....you mean the one right next to Naru? ......Dang, I haven't the foggiest. XP Unless that is Naru's sister or something......Bah.

That is a SUPERB set. Not many ROD images have I.....But that reminds me that I must look for more, as I liked that series.


Note: I have a slightly naughty one (Bare breasts) if you wish it. It is relatively tasteful, or at least, as tastefull as bare breasts can be. 😛

I may need to partake of your vast knowledge base for a moment. I saw bits of the R.O.D series when it ran briefly on Anime Unleashed. Then a bit ago Adult Swim ran a movie length R.O.D. but with none of the same people. In both instances what was it I was seeing? I enjoyed them both but they seemed to be entirely seperate entities.

A perfect example of auto-breast inflation is the Spring Special. Naru's breasts increased in size dramatically only to go back to their normal size in Again. The only reason they even did this was because she was wearing that leaf bikini, so they figured they might as well sell it.

While her breasts weren't too ridiculously huge, they were as big as Mutsumi's if not a bit bigger and thats saying alot. Naru has perfectly sized breasts, theres no reason to think she, as a character, would not live up to par if her breasts were not larger than they were for those scenes.

But what are you going to do, you know? The japanese really love them breasts. 😛

The series you saw on Anime Unleashed was R.O.D.: The TV. What Cartoon Network showed was the R.O.D. OVA, which means original video animation or some such. They are separate entities, although there is a slight connection between the two, as you surely saw. Does that answer it?

Seriously though, they work under near sweatshop conditions. Its almost hard to imagine anime being as good as it is when they are treated the way they are, and with the money they make.

In fact, if you really think about it, they're the ones getting screwed the most.

I can easily agree with that. I've seen some pictures of the insides of the production houses in Japan, and all I can say is Dilbert and Co. would have a lot less to complain about if they saw THOSE working conditions. But I suppose it is a labor of love for at least some of them.

Indeedy. I hope they show the series on Adult Swim. I missed most of it when it ran on TechTV and they only run stuff once...AS tends to stick with stuff loooong after I'm tired of it. 😛
