Oh, and people like me. Forgot to add that. The misunderstood ones. 😀
Personally, I think it works this way. Random guy comments on lack of "available women." Conversation devolves to a point in which it's all blamed on the "creepers." This is a very popular strategy among certain guys. They love to talk about the "creepers" because they think it somehow sends the message, "Check ME out ladies. I'm not like those other guys. You can trust ME because I'M just chock full of respect here."
If you ask me, the guys doing this strike me as more desperate than the guys who come out and say what they want.

I don't know, that still sounds vastly preferable to letting creepers do their thing without calling them out on it. At least those kinds of people aren't harassing anyone?
Plus, it's a little unfair to assume that of anybody who calls out people on that kind of behavior. Some people just want their fetish community to be a little more classier, no?
It's pretty cool to read your posts and threads from a few years ago. I think back to where I was, what was important then and who was in my life.
I think we did a pretty good job with answering the question those years ago.
I agree that pervs don't help. But that doesn't explain the lack of women on here. The reality is this site and many like it don't offer women much. Why chat with anonymous men that claim to be able to fulfill her fantasies when many men in real life would be able/willing to do the same exact thing? What straight heterosexual male wouldn't tickle an attractive woman to indulge her fantasies? What would she get here? People calling her fake if she posts a photo. People sending harassing mail. HD vids that are male centric vs the real thing?
Putting to one side the central question of the thread for a second (cos I think it's been covered pretty well by other members)...
lol Yes. I've definitely seen this tactic employed in the past. Opportunism dressed as gallantry.
It goes without saying that if we see a person behaving in a way we consider inappropriate, we should call them out on it. But I think, though DAJT can answer for himself of course, that he was referring to instances where a member makes a sweeping comment in order to make themselves look a cut above the rest. I've seen it done regarding creepiness, shallowness, whatever negative trait it is that might be seized upon.

100% agreed! Yeah, I could find a ler who is into tickling. But would I find one who I actually could trust and like? Much harder! The community especially in this country isn't that big. And to be honest: guys who aren't into tickling just DON'T F*****ING GET IT!! This is how most every conversation with a guy who doesn't have a tickling fetish goes:
Him: "So what turns you on?"
Me: "Tickling!"
Him: "With the tongue on your clit?"
Fail right there.
I think the better question is what is the reason that the women that are here, here? From the videos, to the stories, to the advertisements, this site is oriented to males. Don't get me wrong, I have no complaint about that, but then again I've never been interested in using the TMF as some type of dating site. If I wanted to meet women, I think I would go to a place that actually has plenty of women.
...saying those kind of people are worse than those who constantly harass female members seems a bit of an exaggeration to me.
How do you orient this site toward females then? Sure, the adds on the left side (sponsors) are male oriented (aside from MTJ probably which caters both to males as females). But most women aren't exactly asexual nor forbidden to share their input right? Stories for instance are a medium women are stereotyped to enjoy more than males.
There are other reasons than this site not being oriented at females enough in my opinion. Those reasons are as stated here, lower demand.
I don't think you orient this site to females, trying to do so would be a fool's errand. You would probably succeed in turning off your male audience more than you would in attracting females. A tickling fetish is sexually in nature and men and women have different approaches to sexuality. There is nothing wrong with that.
