Why won't Baldadonis paint doghouses with me?

Things have been going great, big time, with Baldadonis and I. We have great, meaningful conversations and have enjoyed many walks on the island of Honolulu. :bouncybou:bouncybou:bouncybou

However, he won't paint doghouses with me. I don't understand why. He seems to enjoy painting other things, like color-by-number and graffiti with me. Yet, for some reason, he just won't do the doghouse painting.

I'm just looking for feedback here. It would be really helpful if anyone has any insight into Baldadonis as to why he won't do this with me.
 
Have you tried speaking to him about it? Perhaps painting doghouses is something he prefers to do by himself. Or maybe he paints doghouses with only guy friends as a way of male bonding.

You must remember, Sarah, that Dave is a very complex and high-strung individual who does not bend when it comes to his habits. Perhaps if you spoke with him and explained to him how much it hurts you, he will try and work with you on painting your doghouse. If he still won't paint the doghouses with you, perhaps you need to find a more understanding man to spend your life with.

You know, I'm really worried about you two now, because this is a serious issue. I personally know Dave and I know this is not something small that should be trivialized. The fact that he won't do it with you could be the straw that broke the camel's back. He probably tells you something like "its nothing hun, I just DON'T paint dog houses" but that clearly is a ruse to misdirect you and is at the heart of the issue that is...... I think he may be looking for a reason to break up with you.

You may be thinking "meh, maybe Jay is wrong", but ponder this. Dave has painted dog houses with me on multiple occasions. In fact it is how we met. We were in a public "paint doghouses for the needy" program in the Bronx together. We both reached back for aquamarine sunglow metallic and bumped brushes. At that point we both awkwardly locked eyes and said "JINX" at the same time then fell down into a giggling heap. From that time on we've painted doghouses together every other Sunday of the month. Just last Sunday, he sat at a station painting the roof of a doghouse for a chipper German Shepperd name Shadow. I turned on Unchained Melody on the boombox, sat behind him, took his hands in mine and helped him paint it. It turned into a hot and steamy day, until I was killed in what looked like a robbery attempt, and since Leah has been trying to track down my killer with the help of a psychic named Ode May Brown.

So in conclusion, you are basically single as we speak. You are a cute, smart, vivacious young lady with a lot going for you, so you should be okay. This relationship though is over. In the words of Plato, "if he won't paints doghouses with you, thou art single".
 
Maybe it's because the dog has to live there and it's up to the dog to be its own decorator. However, if you'd like to start small, start with smaller dog-like objects and work up from there.

Start with hot dogs. Get him to paint some hot dog buns. 🙂

I can't believe all these complex diagnosis, its very simple.

Not only does he laugh like a little girl........he paints like one as well.

Its as simple as that.

Please people, our friend Sarah is hurting right now due to the insensitivity of Dave. Can we please not make light of her pain? It's very disrespectful.

Sarah, please stop pm'ing me to tell me why I'm wrong. I painted the Gd damn doghouses with him. Stop ignoring the obvious...the man paints doghouses and he does it without you. You are exhibiting the symptoms of a typical non-painting, loved confused self loather. Deal with the elephant in the room, not the people offering to help.
 
Just get Dave some fingerpaints, a frilly yellow dress and a sunhat.

He will be painting doghouses with you in no time.

Jay, why do you have to be so insensitive to Sarah? Just because you share that bond with Dave that she craves doesn't mean you have to rub her nose in it. Try not to be such an asswad when responding to the thread of someone who is supposed to be your friend.
