Why won't Baldadonis paint doghouses with me?

Dave and I had a very long talk last night about this doghouse-painting issue that stands in the way of our ultimate bliss. I suggested that perhaps painting birdhouses would be a casual way to immerse himself in the doghouse-painting world. I even bought a kit I thought we could do together. Instead of embracing my compromise, Dave threw the birdhouse-painting kit out the window and took a long solo ride on his unicycle. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Maybe a paint-by-numbers with a doghouse in the picture would work.

Tell Dave finishing the doghouse will assure him a top draft pick in next years fantasy football draft.

That should get him to buy the paint as well paint the dog house.
