[This is not nonsense. The context was that, after a Saturday night game, some of the Yankee stars were discussing which nightclub they should go to. Mantle mentioned a particular nightclub, and Berra said the above. It is clear from context that he meant this:
Nobody famous goes there anymore. It's too crowded with tourists. ]
