For my money, Gary Roberts is the best bondage artist out there. His girls are something special.

Gary Roberts' girls? Oh, c'mon! Nothing against your own personal tastes, but all his girls are freaking identical! It's like the exact same girl is the heroine in every comic. He makes up for it in unique situations and excellent bondage, but really I can only look at identical blondes for so long. Props to him, though, for at least giving them curves. If they were pencil-thin blondies, I wouldn't give his art a second glance.

Oh, I do agree. As much as I do love Robert's work, most of his girls are the same face with different hair. But that face..... 🙂 Makes me happy in my black little heart. His bondage situations are sublime. And, it IS nice to see that wide-eyed look in an art form that isn't anime for a change.

There are a lot of great artists out there (you among them!), and we have a wealth of styles to chose from. Something about Roberts' work just does it for me. The funny thing is...if you look at his older work, there was a far wider range of "personalities". And yes...I totally agree on the curves. Too many pencil-thins in fetish art.
