Would you permanently change your tickling fetish for a socially accepted turn-on?

I wouldn't 🙂 my current girlfriend has just told me she actually likes the thought of me tickling and it is a kinda turn on. Then mores the point, that I get turned on as a result of it turns her on further! 😀 now why would I wanna change that little set up? Sure, I don't go and broadcast that I have a tickle fetish. There are some people who know about it and it's a little awkward, but as a previous post said in this thread, why would I change what I like and I clearly HAVE just for societies sake? It's obviously something that all people who have a tickle fetish have got. Something deep down, tickling appeals to us. There's no point in fighting it, if you've got that liking of it, you may as well accept it and try to utilise it... I know I have 🙂

I've been thinking about this for a long time. But more from the playful/fun side rather the the turn on side. Over recent years I've wished I didn't have this fetish mainly because I just haven't met the ler for me. I thought I did and recent months made me realise I didn't. And that just made things more complicated for me. Made me hate the fetish. However chatting with my mates made me remember how much I do like it and wouldn't change it. It makes me me. It's enabled me to have so much fun at college and uni. But at the end of the day once mr right comes along it doesn't matter if he shares the same fetish or not....it's not the be all and end all.....there is more to life than tickling. You can just find other ways to feed your fetish....like visiting places like this.

That's pretty awesome, but I've been in relationships where visiting places like this and watching tickling videos was tantamount to cheating.

No I wouldn't.

If nobody likes your shit then they simply don't deserve your time of day.

never! nope, its me, and personally, i wouldn't give anything up that i like ^_^

This is very difficult for me to answer, but I can't help but feel that I wouldn't trade my fetish for any other more "socially acceptable" one at all. I love what I love and it makes me who I am. Though I'm learning to not be.. ashamed of it, I think once I am more open about it, I will feel much more compelled to pursue it even further :]

I haven't found many people that get weirded out when I tell them. I'm not ashamed of it, I don't really have low self esteem and no issues being in social situations, all of which i think play a part in how we view ourselves / how we think others view us

no i would keep my tickling and foot fetish its the way i am if people dont like it tough besides when people find out not once have they been weirded out they actually (as long as they were girls) helped feed my fetish sometimes when i asked them to to

i dont think girls would be turned off by a tickling fetish because majority of girls love being tickled even though they dont admit it . its moreso the feet bit which might turn a few girls off . the problems with tickling clips is that people use hairbrushes and toothbrushes to tickle feet which is really weird and not that enjoyable to watch . i prefer clips to be 85% nice soft, sensual delicate tickling with the fingers and 15% tickling them for toture but most clips are 98% tickling them as hard as possible and 2% soft and sensual which totally sucks

id keep the tickling fetish and lose the foot fetish

I'm content with keeping my tickling and feet fetish, would not trade it for the world.

I answered "yes" cause there was no inbetweens. I would want to lose the fact that I need my foot tickling fetish to have a top notch sexual performance (so that way I could get involved with a close minded sexually lady if she was for me in all other ways).

Why change what works???

a "turn-on" is a "turn-on" however you wish to phrase it, and "socially acceptable" varies from society to society.

I like being tickled. Hell, I love it! For me it's fun, it feels good, and (for whatever reasons) it presses all the right buttons.
I like tickling, I like watching others being tickled; and personally I don't find it any more or less "socially acceptable" than anything else from a simple foot fetish (the most common form of fetishism for an "otherwise non-sexual" part of the body) to hardcore BDS&M (not for me, but to each his own)...

It just happens to be my flavor; and, as long as consenting adults are the only ones involved, if someone else thinks it's "weird" ... I never invited them to watch, and they're more than free to look away.

As long as play is safe and sane, I say rock on, and let the laughs begin! 😉

Hey There

Hey, I accidentally put yes to change it for a turn on but I want to keep my tickling/foot fetishes.

i sometimes wonder what it would be like to be one of those strictly foot-tickling-only-or-gtfo type of people. It must be nice to be satiated so easily.

oh-oh! Wait! Is it like "the Box" where you get the fetish of the person before you, and the next person gets your fetish?
And if its socially acceptable, which society? I mean, I wouldn't want to suddenly have a thing for thai ladyboys.

No I will not drink the potion to get rid of my tickling fetish

No I will not drink that potion to get rid of my tickling fetish. I do not want to get rid of my fetish. It feels so good to make people laugh when you by tickling their most ticklish spots. :rolleyes 🙂 Who doesn't enjoy making people laugh?

Why would I want to get rid of my fetish just to please this messed up society.:glare I am not harming anyone with my fetish. It is not like I am breaking the law or hindering someone's success in their life.

No I will not get rid of it.

Amen!! Where's the Like button on this forum?? 😀

its funny. i dont get to tickle much. pretty much only cyber. im still consider weird and its torture to know every person i know who is ok with me tickling them is literally sates or countries away.and yet i would never get rid of it. i like laughter. girls laughter but laughter non the less. if i wanted to be societies standards id do think i want to be in this world. society is boring. because when you put it that way you make it sound like everyone is doing it and that makes it normal. im not normal.i accept that and i accept my fetish.even if the word tickle irritates me(it just sounds weird....) and the word fetish sounds like a sickness( i mean it really does)

Why anyone would choose to lose something because it not "socially" normal is a mystery to me!

It's not really something that needs to be managed, unless you've got something medically wrong with you.

If it's acceptable, do it. If it's not, don't. It's really not much more complicated than that.
