Buy the 6 pocketbooks that contain the entire series.
The man who wrote them arranged his stories in a bit of a funny way. It's the same story, but if you read the comic it's presented in a different sequence than if you read the trade paperbacks, and again in a different sequence if you read the pocketbooks. I'm not really sure why he did this...the only downfall is the art isn't in color. I'm collecting all three versions anyway :D.
But yes, I did think of you as you've posted before being unsure of your sexuality. And that's exactly what one of the girls battles throughout the book.
As a cherry on top, one of the comics is drawn as if both of the main characters are from Xena and it's a parody on how similar the characters are. Here is a link to the cover of that issue:
