I'm finding out that people have their preferences and we're not going to change their minds with a few words. It's not even necessary to do so because they're entitled to their opinions and physical preferences.

I honestly dont think there is any correlation between weight and being into tickling. TMF has plus sized women into tickling, and thin women into tickling. I have known women of all sizes into tickling since I've gotten into it. In my opinion, I think that the idea of plus sized women being more into tickling is a myth. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is just my view. Look at the members roster and some of the pics posted in the forums, guys, we have women of all sizes and shapes here into tickling. As for off of TMF, Iam sure the same holds true for people into tickling who dont belong to TMF as well.

Preferences are very individual. Someone's going to get annoyed any time generalizations are made, usually whoever is a glaring exception to that generalization (funny, that 🙄 ). The women that spoke up on this thread were understandably annoyed with disparaging and largely false comments regarding our reasons for being here, our so-called desperation, how attractive we're considered to be, etc. That's to be expected when insulting comments are made about a group that one fits into. It really has little to do with weight; any time those of us who aren't a 5'10 size 2 are told we're less than lovely and desirable, we're gonna give out verbal fat lips. And why shouldn't we? The average woman in this country is 5'4, weighs somewhere in the 150's and is a size 12. Men love us. They adore our curves. We date, find mates, have babies and live our lives. Men tell us we're gorgeous and we believe them. We don't feel one bit unattractive until some fool in the media tries comparing us to a 14 yr old amazonian child from Czechoslavakia who's been airbrushed and plucked half to death and had makeup put on with a trowel, then taught to smoke and shoot heroin under her big toe instead of eating. It's utterly ridiculous, as are those who feed into it. Normal women can be drop-dead gorgeous and extremely popular, and many of us are, teenage giants and fake-boobed anorexics be damned.

No woman here will deny that many men want a slimmer lady, nor do we begrudge them that-to each his own. I love dark haired, big and brawny men, and I hope the underweight fair-haired boys aren't offended 😛 . But while I could hypothesize that the smaller, less muscular males with sunken chests don't get as much attention in bars and clubs and have to come here to be noticed, I choose not to because it's both offensive and very likely untrue for the most part-just as it is for we curvier women. Gotta watch those generalizations.

I'm 4'11. If you tell me that many men prefer tall, leggy girls, I won't argue. But if you tell me that short girls aren't as attractive, we're gonna tangle because I'm here to tell you otherwise. And you won't see many girls my height in videos or on magazine covers; doesn't mean we're any less attractive. Trust me

I don't think that we're being thin-skinned about being large at all!! To be exact, we are just the opposite. We are confident about who we are, not what society or a few folks around here expressed we should be.

Do you know that fat discrimation is the last allowed prejudice? Do you know we have no real support out there? If I were a drug addict or alcoholic, I'd get more sympathy and empathy? You don't need drugs, alcohol,or cigarettes to live, yet you do need to feed yourself. It is very hard to control at times. Besides, every person who is overweight DOES NOT eat a lot of food, contrary to popular belief. You can't discriminate (blatently) over my race, gender, religious choices and get away with it. But you can make all the fat jokes you want and we're supposed to sit by and allow it, right? I personally don't care if a man accepts me because of my size or not. He's probably someone I wouldn't give the time of day to anyway. I sometimes just get sick of people thinking they know how I think, feel, and operate just because of my size. They couldn't be further from the truth!

This has nothing to do with being thin-skinned. People, myself included get tired of people putting into categories where they don't necessarily belong. I have a job, family who love me, friends who care about me, and all the men I could possibly handle. I'm single by CHOICE, not chance. And I'm not on the internet looking for attention because I can't find it elsewhere.

I've been on this board long enough to know one thing. You are free to express your opinion. Short of the mods deleting your post, no one is going to stop you. The bottom line (no pun intended...okay, maybe slightly intended) is who really gives a ----? Everyone is an individual and everyone's experiences are different. You can't categorically say that all people of any size, shape, color, sexual preference, etc., are any particular way. By the way, like Mimi, I loved Bella's link. One thing I noticed about all of these women is that they all have gorgeous faces. I don't care if a woman is skinny, a size 12 or a size 16. I know that built Steph up and rightfully so but there are wonderful warm sincere honest and loving ladies I have also been honored to get to know. At this stage of this thread, people should know that if they touch certain nerves on certain topics, they're going to hear about it! People don't want to be made to feel unattractive on any level.

No one said people couldn't voice their preferences. It would be beneficial to voice them considering how it would affect others first. If a person doesn't do that and others get upset, it's on them to deal with the fallout. Like I said before, the door swings only one way on this one.

BTW, society has dictated that slender women are preferable to larger women. That DOES NOT mean that every man falls into what society thinks and feels. I've had many relationships, marriage, and two children. Obviously there is a group of men that could care less what society says is attractive. They could further care less what their friends think by having a BBW on their arm and in their bed. So your generalizations are just that-generalizations. I think their is lot of truth here. I think eating disorders should be treated with the same respect as drug addiction and alcoholism. They all have a problem. I think Anorexia is horrible. I think Bulemia is horrible. I think that overeating and obesity is just as bad. They share a common element: THEY WILL KILL YOU. Yes, I think it's wrong for women who are 100lbs overweight to call themeselves BBWs. To me that is like a smoker calling herself a "sexy smoker" Now, on the otherhand, I believe in ridiculing fat people as much as I believe you should ridicule alcoholics. I also believe that a lot of people that are not overweight think that it is easy for overweight people to loose the weight. It's not! Kis pointed out that not all overweight people eat a lot. This is true. Once you start putting on the weight your metabolism slows down. Also the extra weight slows you down physically. With that exta weight you're joints cannot support vigourous exercise. So you burn a lot less calories. Once you are obese it only takes a few hundred calories to keep you at your obese weight.

I still say my sig says it all. Yeah I'm fat, so what? I've never suffered from a lack of attention from either men or women. Being big does not automatically relegate one ugly. And I reserve the right to label and see myself as a BBW regardless of how others feel. I'm fine with myself, and Lazarus finds me incredibly sexy just as I am...so there's some truth to the term.
