Seeing as how there's a backlog, me and Artoo are going to field this one. To make mulled wine, you'll need a bottle of cheap red, cloves, an orange, cinnamon sticks, brown sugar (I say a bit and Artoo says lots of...he doesn't like it too tart), and a thick-bottomed pot.
Stick the cloves in the orange and simmer (not boil) all the stuff together. That's how we both do it...there might be some protocol regarding the order in which the ingredients go into the pot, but we're lazy drunks. Especially at Christmas, which is the only time of year it's permissible to have mulled wine.
Stir occasionally, unless you happen to be unconscious under the tree with a bit of tinsel tied around your cock. Artoo suggests electro-stimulation in this case, to keep the unconscious limbs a-flailing. I think that's taking it a bit too far, personally.
Serve in warmed mugs, then go back to sleep. Don't give any to the carolers, they're a bunch of moochers.

We beg the indulgence of everyone who has posted these last few days,and offer a most heartfelt apology.Matters of a personal nature,which need not be discussed here,have kept us away from this thread for far too long.
