I usually stock up on frozen meats and vegetables, because almost everything is sold in family-oriented portions 🙂 I try to rotate enough to keep me from getting bored, the only thing I probably overdo regularly is chinese food, which is my default choice if I'm too busy or distracted to deal with cooking.

What do you tend to get from the chinese place? I'm a big fan of lemon or orange duck or General Tso's...

beef with peapods, chicken chow main, or spicy shrimp. Not because those are special favorites, just because they're what the place does well.

Did well actually. The last two times, the delivery guy tried to pat me on the stomach, he's really a weirdo. The first time I was so shocked that he actually managed to do it, but the last time I grabbed his wrist in time. But that means I can never order from that place again, because I don't trust him not to screw with my food.

There have been a number of times when it looked like we'd go down, but I don't think I ever really felt like it would be for good, like forever. I can't imagine a problem that couldn't be solved one way or another.

No, and I can't imagine that I ever would. They're way too permanant and there's nothing I've ever thought was cool that I didn't think was a little annoying five years later 🙂

I got into rare and raw foods when I started eating sushi. Rare steak tastes really surprisingly good.


Abraham Lincoln, for a lot of reasons. Freeing the slaves, obviously, but also because he saw the importance of preserving the Union. And he has one of the best lines of all time. During the Civil War, when Ulysses S. Grant was winning battles one after the other, some of Lincoln's advisors complained to him about how much Grant drank.

Lincoln famously replied: “Let me know what brand of whiskey Grant uses. For if it makes fighting generals like Grant, I should like to get some of it for distribution.”

Who do you miss most from the early days of the TMF?

Nothing, things are better in every imaginable way, I really mean that.
