I honestly don't remember at all what it was, but it cost $1000 and I was 19.
 
In the box for the present you mailed me, there was a gum wrapper. Was that accidental or a personal touch since you chew gum constantly?

I do, but not as much as I used to. For a long time I was so extraordinarily careful about making sure I was seen as impartial at all times that I would almost never express an opinion or participate in a discussion.

But the problem with that is that it cut me off from the most important community in my life. I finally realized (embarassingly late in the game) that I was going to have to just be whoever I am, and let people think what they're going to think about me, and as long as the forum is run impartially, it doesn't matter if I'm just as opinionated as anyone else.

Or so I tell myself 😎

I don't know, life is hard and complicated, and I sometimes wonder how I ever made it this far without killing myself 🙂 I was partly just kidding, but I'm a single guy, and my apartment is almost always a mess, and I'd rather play video games and smoke pot than most other things, and so just in general, I question my own judgement at times 😎

That said, I think I would want one of each, and no preference on which is first. I think I'd be the type of father who is way too indulgant of his daughters, and I'd end up wrapped around their fingers. But I think I would want to raise a son, too, the whole idea of raising a man and teaching him about the world is very appealing.

I think you'd be a good dad. No one knows what they're getting into when it happens, of course, and it's not like you'd be playing video games instead of feeding your kids. Besides, kids LOVE video games.

Seriously though, you've given great advice to a lot of people and helped me personally through and out of a lot of hard times. You'd end up being a better parent than most have had.
