My greatest baseball memory (watched on TV) was seeing Sandy Koufax pitch a complete game victory in game 4 of the 1963 World Series which completed a 4-game sweep of the favored NY Yankees.
My greatest baseball memory (watched in person) was being in Dodger Stadium on June 18, 2014, when Clayton Kershaw pitched a no-hitter. Not only a no-hitter, but he walked none and struck out 15. All that kept it from being a perfect game was a two-base throwing error by shortstop Hanley Ramirez.
My worst baseball memory (watched on TV) was seeing the Dodgers blow the lead in the 9th inning to lose the third and deciding game of the special playoff series to decide the 1962 NL pennant. Even worse, they lost it to the putrid motherfucking hated jints bastards. I was 12 years old and I cried for days.
My worst baseball memory (watched in person) was on April 23, 1999, exactly 24 years ago. I was in Dodger Stadium when Fernando Tatis hit two grand slam home runs. Not only were these both in the same inning, they were also off the same pitcher, Chan Ho Park. As to why Park was left in the game to give up 11 runs (6 of them earned), you will need to ask then Dodger manager Davey Johnson. Just allowing a pitcher to face 13 batters in the same inning is absurd.
