Yes, summer begins. Earlier in my life, the spring semester is over and I begin three months off. 😀

Nice. Where my brother lives in California, they don't have all summer off. They have 3 week breaks but more frequent (like they have one in September). Personally I'd rather have summer off.

On the way to work I pass several schools. And the buses hold up traffic/kids crossing etc. I don't mind it but it's nice less people on the roads.

Yes, you must stop for a school but loading or unloading.

I never understand how they put 15MPH speed limit in school zones...ever try to go 15MPH...up a hill? lol

When I owned a car, I got half a dozen tickets for exceeding the speed limit, both on highways (speed limit 55mph) and on local roads (speed limits from 25 to 40mph).

I go above the speed limit every day. Most people do at some point. Fortunately I only have gotten 1 speeding ticket.

None of my speeding tickets were in New York state, actually. They were in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Illinois. I guess there are more radar traps in those states.

What about those blinking lights that take pictures? I always wonder if that's worth it to run and how they go through the pictures.

I am not sure how those automated computer speed traps work. My tickets were all before that era, 1967 to 1978.

I have had one rain out for the Cyclones so far this year. Unfortunately, the game wasn't postponed until after I arrived at the stadium in Coney Island. 🙁

NFL Schedules came out yesterday. I love seeing it. But I really want summer to go slow.

Based on last season's records it's a difficult schedule. We play both superbowl teams...and our division was harder than most and is expected to be again this season.

That's a shame. In baseball, with 162 games, things even out more over the season.
