Just like today should be! I had a phone issue and planned to get it repaired but instead splurged for a brand new phone. My brother got me my last 2 phones for free from where he works an IT sometimes they get phones in so it's been a very long time since I bought one.
 
I used to have a Blackberry and when it was becoming dysfunctional, the Blackberry company was outclassed by Samsung.
 
I remember the good days where you got a free new phone every 2 years...now $1,000 per phone.
 
That's for sure. These baseball standings are really tight in some divisions and wild cards of course. I am really interested to see how everything goes this month of September.
 
The Mets, in particular, are in a very close NL Wildcard race and their fans are on an emotional roller coaster.
 
It's fun though. Speaking of fun our annual BBQ was fun at work. We got a perfect day too with the weather.

I'm enjoying it. I'm glad even though we've had some cooler mornings it's nothing crazy yet and the afternoons are still consistently in the 70s to low 80s most days.
 
Hope you got them done. My internet was lagging badly this morning so that's why you will see less posts than normal from me before work.

Yes, I got all my errands done yesterday and then enjoyed watching the Dodgers beat the Braves on MLB Network.
I did notice that you didn't make your typical 75 posts, filling three pages. Hope your internet problem is resolved now. 😀
 
Yes it was very temporary. I was able to post after I had my breakfast without many interruptions.
 
I haven't had any internet problems in many months. (Oops, I may have just jinxed myself. 😱 )
 
I normally don't have any and if I do it only lasts a few minutes thankfully. Probably jinxed both of us.
 
Me either. Just like how the Boston Red Sox could never win. Now they won more than the Yankees have this century.
Jets looked really good last night. 2-1.
 
One reason that I never liked the NFL is that, if you root for a team and it loses, then you have to wait a whole week for another chance to win.
 
That's why fans overreact over each game because there are so few. I went to my first Jets game around 1990. I can find the exact game. My uncle took me when I was like 11 years old to a Jets game. But funny story I think it was the 2nd game I ever went to the Jets were playing the Indianapolis Colts around 1991. The Colts were 0-10. Jets were like 4-5. I told my uncle in the car they can't lose this game. My uncle said "this is the Jets. Anything is possible." The Jets lost that game by like 1 point and the coach for the Colts was jumping up and down on the field like he had just won the Superbowl.

I vaguely remember visiting my brother in Baltimore that year and the NFL fans there, who still resented the Baltimore Colts leaving town to resettle in Indianapolis, were happy that the Colts were having an epic rotten, losing season.
