Each time I rolled my ankle. When I used to be able to jump 33+ inches, landing wrong and blowing out an ankle really sucked!

I've learned that I can be tolerant of many different points of view regarding all kinds of issues and just go with it. Or, at least give the impression that I'm just going with it. This community rocks and I'm glad to be a small part of others' happiness in some way.

This answer, of course, depends on the nature of the scene. But, using my hand to spank a lady is special because its more intimate. Pardon the pun, put there is more of a natural connection with the girl I'm playing with when giving her a hand-spanking. Implements are great to introduce a lady to other sensations and to add to the dynamic of a particular scene.

And do you prefer when your gal is restrained or free to move?

Not big on restraints, as most "real-life" spankings I've witnessed did not involve any. But, for certain types of scenes, restraints can add a wonderful element of "shock, awe and terror" for the young lady being spanked.

Was spanking your first interest and what drew you to BDSM?

Yep! And for as long as I can remember. Seeing a spanking on TV or cartoons or even just hearing the word caused quite the reaction from me. Once I found an adult magazine dedicated to spanking only in 1989 in a downton Philly adult bookstore/peep show parlor, I knew I wasn't crazy; there were others like me. From then on, I began to explore the scene and, eventually, placed a personal ad in a periodical that some young lady from Vermont answered. She didn't get a reply back from me, but we ended up attending a party together about a year and a half later. I introduced myself to her and told her that she had actually written me in the past but I had just gotten engaged. We played many times that first evening and, after a year-long hiatus, figured some stuff out. I considered myself a pure spanko only. However, tickling has become a wonderful addition to my interests and I can appreciate the folks that enjoy it.

What other activities do you enjoy?

Are any of them limited to romantic partners only?

No, since I do play with others that I'm close to and adore (read: YOU, Lyz!), yet we aren't what I'd consider romantically involved.

How are you able to tell how much pain a gal you're playing with is capable of taking?

A little common sense works for me here: DON'T JUST START WAILIN' ON HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When playing with someone new, I play on the lighter side and watch the reactions she gives VERY closely. I also stop and ask her how she's doing often during the scene. If I choose to "up the ante" and raise the intensity level, I often VERY quickly reduce the intensity and, again, check her reactions and ask her how she's doing. This has seemed to work over the years. I'm a guy. If I'm playin' with her now, I'm probably gonna wanna play with her again. So, I'm going to make sure that our scene is just what she wants. It's a spankin'. If she wants a harder one, she can brat her way to just that! It's amazing how often that happens. Take YOU for instance...and a certain pink flip-flop! 😀 You had a good idea of what you were getting into and you pushed a button anyway. Just like earlier in this thread.
