Inquire with the Observer

Yes, it does. I don't think parents would like seeing my mug on this particular forum.

If they did, I suppose they might be a little more understanding. But, better safe than sorry.

I'd like a dog. Specifically, either a Bernese Mountain Dog, or a Bulldog / Terrier combo.

As a band, I think they're fine. I don't actively seek out their songs, and probably only know the popular ones, but I like them. Every Breath You Take is a hauntingly romantic song, albeit creepy.

The following was left on my doorstep when I arrived home this evening.

"Mr. Observer, what's with all the humidity?"

Well, friends, humidity is caused by those crazy Flemish people. Now, I'm not saying we should eliminate them, but we might want to send them a nice note letting them know we acknowledge their existence, now please stop making our eyeballs sweat.

2. Do you consider yourself close to your family?

3. Would you rather be a sailor or lumberjack?

6. Any phobias?

7. How often do you read?

8. Favorite comic as of late?

9. Have you ever done drugs?

10. What's better, sweet or salty flavored?

THERE. How did that feel? 😀

I take it you're a country fan?

I am. I can totally understand why some people are against country music, and I don't like all of it, but a lot of it is pretty good.

1. Do you ever ask questions when you don't care what the answer is?

Absolutely not. If I ask a question, I want to know the answer.

2. Do you consider yourself close to your family?

Yes, I do. I'm an only child, and my parents and I still have a pretty good relationship.

3. Would you rather be a sailor or lumberjack?

Sailor. I like the water too much. I'd also like to point out that I could have easily made a seaman joke, but I restrained myself.

4. Do you like tea? If so what kinds?

I've always wanted to get into tea, but I can't bring myself to spend money on a whole box when I don't know if I'll like it.

5. When is the last time you visited an amusement park and what's your favorite ride?

I'm not a big ride person, to be honest. The last time I went to an amusement park was when I took my class on a field trip a few years ago. I like carousels, and bumper cars.

6. Any phobias?

I don't like heights when I'm not on something sturdy. I can handle tall buildings and such, but ropes courses and such freak me out.

7. How often do you read?

Depends on the books available. I read a bunch this weekend, but until I find a new book to get into, I might not be as voracious.

8. Favorite comic as of late?

I haven't read a "new" comic in ages. When Marvel first came out with their comic archive, I signed up for a while and read a bunch of old ones. Any recommendations? 😀

9. Have you ever done drugs?

I drink on occasion, but that's it. Never tried smoking (besides smoking an actual stick when I was in 5th grade, which was pretty lame, I'll admit), and never seen the point in any other kind.

10. What's better, sweet or salty flavored?

Depends what mood I'm in. And actually, it's hard to beat a chocolate covered pretzel, so perhaps both.

THERE. How did that feel? 😀

Waking up this morning to find a series of questions made me do a little happy dance. Now, to craft a new set for you, ma petite chou.

Reginald Slapmebum, a tree hugger from Archibald, Iowa, sent in the following message via smoke signals.

"Caz, why do you eat the soft mushy berries when you know you don't like them?

Well, Reg, if I didn't eat them, I'd have 3-4 berries left at the bottom of the pint, and that would not sit well with my OCD tendencies.

I must go now, for my smoke signals inadvertently set the sofa on fire.

1. Do you have any animals? What are their names, if so? If not, what animals would you like?

2. Do you take vitamins?

3. Have you ever let a girl paint your nails?

4. Have you ever had a pedicure?

5. What's better, a bonfire or a pool party? Why?

6. Where would you like to live?

7. Do you session regularly with your significant other?

8. Is there a TV show you make SURE to never miss?

9. How do you feel about cats named Walter?

10. Are you more introverted or extroverted?

1. Do you have any animals? What are their names, if so? If not, what animals would you like?

I do not have any animals currently. I would like a dog, or two dogs. Cats are OK, but I'm always worried I'll hurt them.

2. Do you take vitamins?

I do take vitamins. Gummy ones, at that.

3. Have you ever let a girl paint your nails?

No, I don't think I have. Which is funny, because as a teenager, I was so desperate for female attention one would think I would have.

4. Have you ever had a pedicure?

No, I have not.

5. What's better, a bonfire or a pool party? Why?

Why not both? Seriously, it would depend on the situation. Bonfires are awesome; there's something about fire at night that entrances me. Yet, pool parties allow for more fun. Who's at said event?

6. Where would you like to live?

I'm pretty happy where I am, but I've always wanted to live on the water. Unlike some people I know 😉, the idea of living on the ocean is awesome. Water as far as the eye can see, listening to the waves, that's my kind of place.

7. Do you session regularly with your significant other?

No, she's not into "sessions" as it were, though God bless her, she tried to humor me early on in our relationship. There's a good amount of tickling, though, so I'm happy.

8. Is there a TV show you make SURE to never miss?

The beauty of DVR is that I can tape everything, and watch it at my leisure. Lately, I've been big into Dual Survival.

9. How do you feel about cats named Walter?

Walter is a pretty cool name for a cat. Does he wave and speak French? 😀

10. Are you more introverted or extroverted?

That would depend. In social situations with my friends, I'm a TOTAL extrovert. I get something that I'd guess is similar to the "high" you mentioned at gatherings, and I'm hard to stop.

At the same time, with people I don't know as well, or just at random times, I can be quiet and more reserved. I think each of us is a mixture of both, and it just depends on who we're with.

The following was found wedged in my office window. I believe it was left by a nomadic, inquisitive pigeon.

"Dear Caz, what's with all the crazy sped-up music you've been listening to lately? Are you high?"

No, my pigeon friend, I am not under the influence of any illicit drugs. I am, however, under the influence of "The Grupples", and LypStynk.

Note: I am in no way affiliated with either "band" in the previous videos. I just have WAYYYY too much time on my hands.

You know, I thought I would. I thought I'd spend the rest of my life there, and life would be just a bowl of peaches. However, I think I might be more inquisitive than observant. Perhaps I need a new screenname, although if I'm the "TMFInquisitor", it's going to sound like I'm Tor Kamata or something.

ROFL!!! Brilliant!

Did I see somewhere that you are a chef? :hungry:

Do you know the cure for hangovers? 😀

Hmm, not much of a drinker, but here are some recommendations.

1. Sleep it off.

2. Eat a lot of bread.

3. This is more of an idea for when you realize you're way too drunk, but pull a Andre the Giant / Mandy Patinkin in Princess Bride. Get yourself a bucket / sinkful of scalding hot water, and another of freezing water. Dunk your head into one at a time, going back and forth. Repeat until you don't feel like Death on a Triscuit. Truthfully, this worked wonders for me.

I've done some paid cooking gigs, but it was mostly picnics and things of that nature. I've considered going to culinary school, but I think I'd have to learn a lot about the kind of food I have no desire to cook, so why bother?

I did not. I still kinda want to see it, but at the same time, everyone I've talked to said it was crap. I wasn't an avid watcher of the show, but I love the whole Four Element thing, so I thought I'd enjoy it. We'll see. I doubt it's a movie that's as good on a small crap TV, so I might just pass on it altogether.

One of the eternal debates, I think. Both are wonderful, but lately, I've been on a pancake kick, so I'll go with that.

The following came from Paris, Texas by way of the Orient Express.

"Caz, my boy, you've fallen way behind on your Stephen Wright quote quota. Come now, why is that?"

All those who believe in telekinesis, raise my hand.
