Helsinki's finest taxi to help you find your Elder hostel.

The stairway to heavenly accomodations...just like the brochure promised. Outside plumbing just like home. Perfect after a long day of bike riding.

It was just like home. I almost cried.

Cutting his game short,Kered returned to his rental car.

Nothing parties like a rental!!

Walking the streets of Helsinki one day,Kered found what would become his favorite spot in the city.

Kered rented a houseboat,intending to cruise the Finnish coast.

Kered has found driving in Europe more challenging then expected.

Wanting to get out of town and enjoy the countryside,Kered found a rental home available.

Some of the locals were less then thrilled when they heard about their new neighbor.

The nude-outdoor sauna at the Hostel was a welcome comfort to Kered after a day full of sightseeing.

Driving to his rented house Kered narrowly avoided a nasty accident and,perhaps,an international incident.

Kered found that his rental house came with a somewhat eccentric caretaker.

Kered was anxious to hit the slopes at the local ski resort.

I've travelled to many foreign countries like England, Sweden, and New Jersey but never had as much fun as I did in Finland. One thing though.......either it is against the law to smile there or they don't have any dentists. I have not seen one native smile. Even at my best jokes.........hmmmm

Finally,Kered was ready to leave Finland and head south.He booked passage on a ship headed for England,reserving the finest suite for his voyage.

I don't consider conures as viable parrots.......plus they taste good if you have enough mustard.

The first ship Kered had booked passage on was seized by creditors,forcing a change in plans.He was able to secure a cabin on another ship and was finally ready to begin his voyage.

Some dumbshit left the side loading hatch open. I wasn't out much since they had already lost my luggage.

On his thrid try Kered finally found a seaworthy vessle and settled into his cabin,looking forward to a few calm and uneventful days at sea.

I admit I was nervous. I had a proper English dinner engagement with Slap~n~Ticklee in London in a few days.
