Here it was a warm sunny day,
But I couldn't go outside and play.
I had to work indoors with no sun,
So I didn't have any fun.

Tomorrow the sun will shine.

Tomorrow I have another long day at work,
With boring committee meetings that I can't shirk.

I like to go to Central Park,
But never after dark. 😀

After dark it is a mess.

It is hard to always make a rhyme.

Not meaning to be trite,
But I often think of last June
And friends I met that night.

Fun, food, and drinks all round
Laughter through the hall,
I marvelled at the friends I found
I find I miss them all.
