Do you think the Orioles or Yankees will win the AL East (it's a great race so far obviously with more than half the season to go)?
 
I think that the Yankees will win as along as Judge stays healthy.

What do you hope is the World Series match-up this year?
 
Yankees vs. Dodgers (would be fun for us).
Do you think the Mets will make the playoffs this year?
 
No, I think they will have a bad September and wind up about 78-84.

Would you like to see the Red Sox crash into last place?
 
Yes, I'm not a fan of the Red Sox.
What's one team you weren't a fan of but rooted for them because your team was out in the past?
 
One year when the Dodgers were far out of their pennant race, I rooted for the Cleveland Indians (as they were then named) on behalf of a woman friend from Cleveland who was a fanatic for them.

Can you imagine being friends with a fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams?
 
Yes as long as they were a cool person and not obnoxious about their teams (that's why I think some people hate the Yankees because of all the history of winning and some fans are too obnoxious about it).
Who's the most obnoxious person you ever met?
 
The brother of one of my roommates in graduate school takes that prize. He was an arrogant, pretentious asshole who thought that he was a genius but wasn't one. A typical Mr. Know-It-All who was wrong about many things.

How do you deal with friends who marry somebody that you can't stand?
 
I just deal with my friend directly more usually but fortunately most of my friends who married someone I don't have a big problem with.
What do you think of the shopping networks putting on Christmas In July stuff this summer?
 
I think it's obnoxious, but I don't watch shopping networks anyway.

By what date should people take down their Christmas tree?
 
I always think the first week of January so by the 7th.
When will you see fireworks this summer?
 
I have already seen fireworks in Coney Island at the ballpark last Friday night. They have "Friday Night Fireworks" every home game on Fridays in June and July.

What is your favorite place to see fireworks?
 
I like to see the fireworks at Playland which is where I grew up going to every single summer as a kid and somehow they are still opened after threatening to close countless times over the last couple of decades.
What's one thing you're currently grateful for?
 
That physical therapy seems to be helping me.

What is one realistic thing that you would wish for?
 
Health for my family and friends.
What's more important to you material things or friends?
 
Yes, any long drawn out sickness.
What's the best thing you're going to do today?
 
Go out to lunch at the Lincoln Square Senior Center.

What is the worst chore that you will this weekend?
 
Manchego, which is an aged sheep cheese from Spain.

What is your favorite type of cold cuts for sandwiches?
 
One of those fryers but I know it's not healthy.
How was the first half of the year for you?
 
Just to enjoy it because I do love the 2nd half even more than the 1st half.
Who's your favorite horror character of all-time?
