Hehe, that's exactally what i'm gonna do. i've actually seen this one before, but i don't remember for the life of me where. i think i just ran into it on eMule or Kaza way back when. But C.Cat, mah man, this is a fine clip. Hehe, thanks for the post. All the talk on this thread makes me think of the things so many of my guy friends have said to me before. i'm a very femminine guy you see. Hehe, apparently, if a women is defined by her curvers then i'm 2/3 a girl. Something like that. i've been told by other guys on more than one occasion that even though they've never before been even the slightest bit attracted to another male they found themselves attracted to me. Hehe, just some thoughts i figured i'd post out-loud. 🙂

People need to realize that when the constitution talks about "freedom of speech" it refers to the government.

That means that you can criticize the government, and can't be arrested for it.

In general, free speech is not absolute.

For example, you can't go into a crowded room, and yell "FIRE!" if there is no fire. It would cause a panic, and you could get arrested for it.

Cell, I think we all know that our first amendment rights have been interpreted pretty broadly by the U.S. Supreme Court. Freedom of the press has become freedom of speech has become freedom of expression. Your right to wave the gay pride flag in public is derived from Supreme Court rulings that define "protected speech." The right of neo-nazis to march through the streets of Skokie, Illinois was another.

There are few civil liberties that Americans hold more dear than freedom of speech and it's extension, freedom of expression. Censorship is just something we don't tolerate generally, and we construct very narrowly the circumstances under which a person may not express their views. The classic example of the limits of free speech is "shouting "fire!" in a crowded theater." You cannot cause a riot, you cannot encourage people to kill or commit crimes against persons. There's a lot you can't say, if you think about it. But there's a boatload more that you CAN say and do.

This website's very existence is protected under freedom of expression, but its existence is not guaranteed. It has to follow a few rules, but consider this:

Cheshire posted a gay tickling vidclip on this site, and that clip is available to anyone over 18 who enters the site. I guess you have to register to see it (another way in which the site complies with certain laws). There are many other countries in the world where, after such a posting, we'd never hear from Cheshire again. Noboby would.

THAT's why I find it shocking that anyone from this sight would agree with statements that promote censorship or claim that speech is a privilege, not a right. Nazis think speech is a privilage, not a right. Yet we, as Americans, ALLOWED nazis to express that opinion publicly, BECAUSE it was their right under the constitution. All I ask is that we all think a bit about this before we jump on the "free speech is over rated" bandwagon.

It is just common sense, and I feel you are making a point in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

While it is clearly off-topic, I stand my point when I say that speaking is a privilege.
Indeed, if one keeps posting harassing messages over a forum, that user is usually forbidden from posting more.

So, effectively, speech is no more a granted right, but a bonus. You must show you are a sensible member of the community; if you step outside the boundaries of mutual respect and good manners, you are usually revoked the means to post your messages on.

So, you are being loaned the "right" to express yourselves, but since it can be taken back, after multiple offenses, you are effectively entrusted with a gift.


I am not American, I come from a fairly different culture and "setting".
You mentioned Nazis. I feel that it was completely off-topic, but I am going to reply all the same, since you probably perceive my posts as provoking and offensive.

I am European - as you already know! 😀 - and I could see what nazists and fascist did to my country...
And I can assure you that telling people NOT to abuse the right to speak is not being a nazi.

Forcing you to vote the fascist party, threatening you with physical harm, sending you on exile.
That is being a nazist/fascist.

Telling people to behave, so mods won't have to cope with nasty flames does not curtail your freedom of speech.


I am afraid some guys are "spoiled": they take their rights for granted, and they can't realise anymore when remaining silent is actually a viable way to express their opinion loudly. 🙂

Easy way to handle hacha archives.

Have you downloaded all the files the archive is made up of?
Have you opened the zip files and uncompressed the contents into a common folder?
Have you run hacha/axe and selected Join?
Have you correctly pointed hacha to the first split file, with .0 extension?
Have you clicked on Join files, and waited for hacha to rejoing the splits?
Have you ever tried mayonaisse on roastbeef?

Check the synopsis, and if you see something missing from your own list, try buying ketchup instead.

Ness -- not about your request at all. If you remember, I supported your request in this thread! There's a big (huge, actually, and floppy ;-) difference between asking people who would have a problem with Cheshire's post to direct their attention elsewhere (especially since you kinda know going in what to expect out of this thread!) and censorship of viewpoints sincerely offered! 🙂 Wouldn't you agree?

Sorry to bother you all... again.... but I used hacha, it joined the files, and now I don't know how to open them. This is the most confusing program EVER.

If hacha joined the files and reported 0 errors, you can safely:

1
Delete the zip files you downloaded from tickle theater.

2
Delete the splits files you extracted from the zip files.

3
Try and open the wmv file with your favourite viewing program, such as windows media player.


Actually... you should try the wmv first, and delete the zips/splits after, but unless you delete them for good, you can recover them from the trashcan and check what went wrong again.

If you did, then it could be Window Media Player's fault; try and update it.
Ask around if you've got problems with it. 🙂

Personally, I use Media Player Classic, and it's quite good: it will open just any video format, except for Real Player, it has some issues with.

Real Alternative can open a larger number of real media files, but quality seems too low to ditch Real Player for good yet...

I downloaded the clip and kudos for posting this!

I have to say that "floppy" aside, this poor guy appears to be one of the most truly, genuinely ticklish people I've seen in a while...just the placing of fingers at the soles and barely moving drives this guy nuts and when the tickler pulls his toes back he really panics. Gotta love it...this is a keeper imho.

Anyone else have a brief image of Sulu while listening to the guy? Go ahead, call me ill...you'll just have to take a number in front of a lot of others :weird:

the direction of the comments is not the issue, the manner of communication is. For someone who lies on the side of allowing the lesser mortals the priviklage to speak under the constant monitoring of your superior intillect, It would just serve you to take into account that simple oppinions are not the root of true arguments, But name calling and sarcastic insulting remarks are. so before determining what constitutes an infraction in the holy rule book, you might want to eliminate inflamitory forms of communication from your own posts.

and its too bad that i am not your genre. I know that the free, non kal fanclub, born before 1991 thing isn't your thing.
