I just cant beat her, Ive got the wooden shield, the hunter's hat, the metal rod and she just laughs at me and blows me away. I should clarify. Your Resistance should be up to Acolyte (Level 3) or Master (Level 4). And I figure that you're better off going up either against the Puppet Witch or the Boss of Thieves.

For Carmilla (Puppet Witch), head to the path toward Windaria Pass. Keep going right until you reach the only long, thin fir tree. From there, head straight up. You'll eventually reach an "abandoned" house.

For Charlotte (Boss of Thieves), start from the East Bridge and begin heading down the path. As soon as you get to the wooden structure with wheels (wooden wheelbarrow?), take an immediate north off the path. You'll see the Thieves' Den in plain sight.
 
Geez, after countless hours of grinding, I finally managed to get the 50000 Gold necessary to purchase the Witch Agenda. It made fighting the Secret boss easier, but not by much.

I hope the next game doesn't require so much grinding. :death:

Okay, I've completed the game twice, seen both the Light and Nocturnal endings, beat both hidden bosses and recorded pretty much everything that I could find in the entire game. Other than the passcode from the contest (seriously, I don't know what quote I'm missing), I think I've played the crap out of this game.

After many attempts with unsteady internet I failed to download.
Now when my internet finally works, the decryption key comes up...
So we just wait?
 
I know it's not worth your time but could you switch it to another download server? My download keeps restarting and never finishes.

Is there a guide to follow when playing this game? Like what types of quests to do first? For instance, when Claire goes to town after talking to her sister after finding out she's a tickling witch?

I don't wanna do anything out of order, and I seem to be having trouble with that symphony bitch. =/ Nice game though btw, ^_^

Michael2002 was kind enough to do a walkthru. While there's really no set order to doing quests, I can say without any fear of dissent, that you should stay away from the symphony witch for quite a while.

Sorry but i have a problem....
i play , but EVERY enemy oneshot me.
i can't kill a music mage in the opera ( i have 14 of mind but inflicts only 12 damage with a fire feather )
and with 12 of resistence EVERY mob kill me on 1 or 2 attack. why? i have a good equip , buy on the dark elfes but every kill me on one attack , Screamer81 you are italian , i write a message in italian ( my english very bad XD )

allora ho iniziato da poco, il primo diciamo "boss" è la maga musicale dentro l'opera , ci sono andato quando l'opera è piena ma gli tolgo 12 danni....non riesco ad ucciderla, allora ho provato ad allenarmi . oneshottato da tutti i mob ç_ç
non capisco se sbaglio qualcosa..... ho equipaggiato le cose forti comprati dagli elfi oscuri ma anche se ho protezione 14 o 4 i danni sembrano sempre gli stessi . non so se sbaglio qualcosa o se ho saltato un pezzo importante che sblocca qualcosa.....

I have the same with Symphony (I don't know if I can skip her).

To increase your magical damages you must increase "power" ... but Symphony is absurdly strong. I hope I can skip because for real that's impossible with my current level:

EVen with 12 in power (I inflict around 45 damage per spell), I still can't beat her before her spell one shots me. She must have like easily 700 HP maybe more.

- I don't know where to find the lingerie for the grand father's "kidnapped" grand daughter.

- I have 7 old coins/9 and I don't know where others are ... and believe me: I went EVERYWHERE.
