They both have different scenes and item rewards. Neither of the items have seemed like game-changers, so I'd personally not use the lotion on either of them on any save you'll use when continuing the game. Make a secondary save, that you won't accidentally overwrite, in front of each of the girls. That way, you can see those scenes whenever you want without having "wasted" the lotion.

I haven't played beyond the translation, but I wouldn't be surprised if Screamer had more than just those two girls affected by it.

I don't think I beat the Kraken until about level 20. It isn't an easy fight. Just wait it out and level up. Go beat some more story. Kraken isn't even the most infuriating boss; that title goes to a certain other optional, side boss. 😛

Heh yeah...ran into that one a bit too early

For those having trouble on certain bosses and such, just ignore that one and go explore. While you're actually going around the map having a good time exploring you'll level up and get good gear and then can go back to "face the kraken!" (sorry i always think of that movie when i see the word kraken) But yeah like dude said I beat it around 20ish as well. The maid skills help and the gear you get along the way is what really makes you more powerful. Levels are kinda just a number.

On another note without giving away spoilers, I was able to advance further in the story by ignoring certain things and just exploring. I had the best around in the game about halfway through and I didn't even know. But eventually it led to storyline getting all messed up and (once I replayed it and followed the path) it turns out I missed some good stuff by doing so.

Be sure that the RTP are for Rpg maker XP and not VX...it's a common but fatal mistake!

To everyone having problems with the game, I suggest you read through pages 50 onwards; various fixes are already listed, as are these same problems. Hopefully any trouble you're having can be solved with what's written there.

Also, could you bold the error instructions so people don't miss them when they go straight for the download? Maybe even make the text bigger?

I'll give you a review on the current translation when I get back from the holidays. Until then, let me say:

Xtreme - you are doing a HELLUVA job and I thank you so much for the translation AND posting a partial for us to play with earlier. I'm looking forward to the next translation update. Seriously, THANK YOU!

Screamer - This is such a good upgrade from Lala's Ordeal. From the little I've played, I applaud you. There have been one or two little designs I haven't agreed with, but I've been really impressed with what I've played so far. I'll give a bigger review later. 🙂 Love it!

Just out of curiosity, Screamer....do the Sprites always run away without fighting? Is it a glitch? Or is something required to make them stick around?
