Just a little update. As Ray mentioned, we'll be doing another show next Tuesday (Oct 21). During that show, we'll discuss the upcoming support group, which will officially open next Friday (Oct. 24). We'll likely share a bit more about ourselves for those who haven't gotten to know us yet. We'll also be sharing some details of who to go to for access to the group, what you can expect in the group, etc. If you have any questions about us or the group itself, we encourage you to listen, join us in chat and/or call in.
There will be a slight wait (a day or two) to get in as we review with you what to expect or not expect and the groups rules. We'll make it as quick and painless as possible. We just want to be sure that we're right for each other before letting you in and having you be disappointed or anything. If you think you'd like to join us but aren't yet sure, you can get in touch with myself, DimpleToes or Dave2112. This way, you can discuss any concerns you may have and be ready to roll once you feel comfortable.
Once again, we want to stress that this will be a safe place where all will be required to hold anything shared in strict confidence. It will only be visible to those for whom access is set.
We also need to remind you that none of us is a professional counsellor. We're simply fellow survivors who are willing to listen, share and support one another.
