Super Smash Bros Brawl

I beat it with roy and DK, how'd u do it with pichu of all ppl? I liked dr. mario, but if they cut someone from melee, it should be jigglypuff, pichu, mewtwo, mr.game & watch, ice climbers, and young link
 
Young Link could be replaced by Wind Waker Link
Mr. Game and Watch has too much history with Nintendo (he's been around since before Mario), he should maybe stay
Pichu definately should be cut since he was a bad joke character
Jigglypuff...is a maybe, I don't know an awful many people who use her
Dr. Mario was just Mario in another costume...he's not really needed
Ice Climbers were kinda too obscure to keep
Roy was merely added in as advertisement for the newest Fire Emblem in Japan, likely Marth may stay since he was the first main character in the series
Mewtwo is pretty formidable if used properly, plus he's a popular legendary Pokemon...I think he should stay

I'm kinda crossing my fingers for new characters from Starfox (Wolf and/or Krystal) for obvious reasons...and maybe Lucario from the Pokemon series
 
I don't know how many people like to play as Jigglypuff, but I have a feeling that none of the characters from the original game will be scrapped.
 
Roy and Marth should still be in there, considering they've confirmed adding Ike from Fire Emblem. Not that I know much about Fire Emblem... for all I know he could be a sequel character replacing Roy and Marth in the first place 😛
Also, Mr Game and Watch is awesome because he's funny to use. SAUSAGES!!
(even funnier when Kirby steals his ability...)
 
Another assist trophy has been unvieled - Andross from Starfox (in his original form - the one that looked like a white mask).
 
Another new stage has been revealed - Pokemon Stadium 2. This one is like a revamped version of the one from melee, only with the different fields being Electric, Ground, Ice and Flying.

On an interesting side note, it appears Mario's moveset has changed some for this game. His down-special move is now F.L.U.D.D.
 
If I had to guess, it seems that the tornado is relegated to down smash.

If they take out any characters, I have to put my two cents in to take out Marth (not Roy), Pichu, Game+Watch and Dr. Mario. Dr. Mario because he's exactly the same, Game+Watch because I don't know why he was added in, Pichu for the same reason, and Marth because now we have a blue haired sword wielding FE lord that seems to be far enough away from Marth and Roy's moveset. However, they aren't likely to take any out, sadly.

Personally, I won't be incredibly excited about the game unless they announce Geno as a playable character. That would rock so damn hard.
 
I really hope ICs, Roy, Young Link, Pichu, Doc, and G&W get the boot. With the exception of Doc, I hated all of them in Melee.

All of Mario's smash attacks have been seen in screenshots or videos. As long as Mario still has his cape, he's straight.
 
The mario cape was kinda pointless so i hope its changed to the new tornado move, not his down smash move cuz it was too cool, he did a break dance kick that sent people flying and he was the only one able to do that.

Mario's cape can reflect, give him a small boost for his recovery, and was just generally very good at screwing up an opponent's offense.
 
also good to screw over a player trying to recover back to the stage *remembers playing as Fox and used the Firefox to get back to fight Mario, only to be redirected back out thanks to that cape*
 
That did come in handy a few times plus it was real fun to do ^ ^
 
New assist trophie: Lyn (from Fire Emblem)

New pokemon: Munchlax (it eats items)

New stage: Battleship Halberd. (Meta Knight's battleship)

Oh snap, I never knew someone made a topic of this game here!

Smash Bros. is, and always will be, a favorite game of mine ever since the N64 days, and now, with Brawl coming December, it's gonna get 10x better! Assist trophies, Diddy-fucking-Kong playable, the unique Pokemon Trainer, the Warioware stage, it's gonna be a blast.

Also, if Sonic is confirmed to be in this game, my head will literally burst.
 
if Sonic does make the cut, this may mean we may be able to reinact scenes from the awesome Super Mario Bros Z series X3
 
Ice Climbers return.

IMO I think they should have left them out.
 
New Item: Golden Hammer

More powerful than the regular hammer and swings faster. It is also very rare.
