May 10th: John Wayne Gacy was executed in Illinois for killing 33 boys over a period of many years.

1996: Jessica Dubroff, aged 7, is killed in a crash near Cheyenne, Wyoming while attempting to set a record as the youngest person to pilot an airplane across the United States.

January 22nd: Madeleine Albright become the first woman Secretary Of State of The United States.

1998: (January 26) Lewinsky scandal: On American television, President Bill Clinton denies he had "sexual relations" with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

January 18th: Eastern Airlines quits flying after 62 years because of financial problems.

1992: While Performing "Fade to Black" in Montreal, Metallica's guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield stepped into a twelve foot flame and was then taken to a nearby hospital. The band did not continue the performance

1993: (February 28) Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents raid the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, with a warrant to arrest leader David Koresh on federal firearms violations. Four agents and five Davidians die in the raid and a 51-day standoff begins.

1994: Susan Smith drowned her two sons, then LIED on national television that a black guy kidnapped her two sons. The police, FBI, etc went on a vast nationwide search looking for a black guy with a car with SC plates. Then later in the week, she confesses that she drowned her two sons.

1995: (October 3) O.J. Simpson is found not guilty of double murder for the deaths of former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

February 10th:Chess Champ Garry Kasparov is defeated by a computer named "Big Blue".

1997: (August 31) Diana, Princess of Wales, is taken to hospital after a car crash shortly after midnight in the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris. She is pronounced dead at 04:00.

1999: (March 26) A Michigan jury finds Dr. Jack Kevorkian guilty of second-degree murder for administering a lethal injection to a terminally ill man.

1990: The Cincinnati Reds swept the Oakland Athletics in the World Series. 😀

1991: (July 22) Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer is arrested after the remains of 11 men and boys are found in his Milwaukee, Wisconsin apartment. Police soon found out that he is involved in 6 more murders.

January 26th: Boris Yeltsin announces that Russia will quit targeting United States with nuclear weapons.

1993: (March 11) Janet Reno is confirmed by the United States Senate and sworn-in the next day, becoming the first female Attorney General of the United States.

1994: A strike followed by a lock-out ends the baseball season. The World Series is not played for the first time in 90 years. Jerry Reinsdorf and Bud Selig are slated to spend eternity in Hell for causing this to happen.

1995: (March 6) On an episode of The Jenny Jones Show ("Same-Sex Crushes"), Scott Amedure reveals a crush on his heterosexual friend Jonathan Schmitz. Schmitz kills Amedure several days after the show.
