1991-October 27th-Completing an exciting World Series between two teams that were in last place in their divisions the season before, the Minnesota Twins defeat the Atlanta Braves, 1-0 in ten innings, in Game Seven of the 1991 World Series, to win the 1991 World Series.

1993-October 23- Joe Carter of the Blue Jays hits a three run, bottom of the ninth homer, off Phillies closer Mitch Willams, to win the 1993 World Series for Toronto in dramatic fashion, as the Blue Jays prevail in Game Six by a score of 8-6, giving Toronto their second World Championship in a row.
