The Braves lost a tough game in extra innings last night to the Marlins. Atlanta comes to Philadelphia tomorrow, and I have tickets to go see my Braves. I just hope it doesnt rain to spoil my night!

I was happy to be at Fenway Park last night. Thyough it is a little hard to see what is happening sometimes from thwe 14th row of the right field grandstand. I didn't like some of the calls by the first base umpire as he wasn't able to tell safe from out. But I did have a good view of Bill mueller's doublee. Which from my point of view, looked initially like a grand slam. But it was nice to see Manny hit a 2 run homerun into a nearby area closer down to the field.

But I am disappointed that the Indians and Tigers couldn't pull off any wins so the Red Sox were not able to gain a game on the Orioles and yankees

The Dodgers have not been playing well lately. 🙁

Braves shut out the Cubs and Kerry Wood tonight 4-0. They now trail the Nats by only 4 1-2 games in the NL East and lead the wild card, and this with all their pitchers on the DL. They said Tim Hudson should be back soon, and John Thomson maybe within 3-4 weeks. If they get healthy, Smoltz pitches as he has been, and the young kids perform, we may be fine even without Mike Hampton and Chipper Jones. Braves have been playing well, and I hope it continues.

Exactly who has the better record here? BTW, the Mets beat the Nationals today in 11 innings 3-2. The Mets are now 8 games behind the Nationals as they won 3 out of 4 games in Washington D.C.

I find it hard to believe that the Dodgers only managed to split their 4-game series with the lowly Rockheads. 🙁 🙁

Looks like there will be baseball, the weather radar shows clearing, so we'll get the games in

I am also glad they sent Patterson down. It was looong overdue. He just wasn't ready

I think you need to get some wins before you decide you can give it better than you can take it. I mean it has been a VERY LONG time between wins. Right now she is giving it very well. 😛 I will root this weekend for the Cubs , Mets , Brewers , Phillies , Tigers ( for my honey ).

I can't say that I liked the outcome of the first Dodgers - Cubs series in 2005. 🙁
