The new chatroom is essentially ready to go, I'm just working out how it will be accessed from the forum.

In the meantime, there are some functions that we can test and play with.

This may have been answered already but I didn't see it --- does A/V not work with Macs?

There was some trouble with that, but mammers said she was able to solve it by switching to firefox I think.

Fuuuu! I get this message.

"Sorry, your session could not be authorized - please re-log in and try again".

I tried re-logging in and it still doesn't work. I was able to log into the beta test version because it had a link to the TMF on it, which I could click, log on, and then chat. Any chance of the powers that be putting the link back on the error page? Nothing else seems to work. 🙁
 
Seemed to work fine. Very nice addition to the forum.

Main ? for me is how to log out of the chat room? Didn't see any "log-out" buttons like in main chat.

Also is original chatroom going to be eliminated?
 
My webcam didn't work. I went to the a/v page. I tried the one in the chatroom. Settings. No go.

I'll try again later.

As far as I know, to log out you just close the window.

The original room will be kept for three more months (which is one billing cycle) in case this one doesn't work out, then I'll probably get rid of it.

No one is in the there right now ... probably because its like super early ... but i'll be on at some point!
 
Is there a way to have private chats in the new room? I didn't notice in my intial check out.
 
There's supposed to be, but it's not working yet. It should be soon...

When I click on My Profile, it tells me that I have to log in. When I click on that...it takes me back to this page attached...I have a password and ID.
 
are you accepting cookies from the TMF, do you know?
 
Are you using IE? Can you try it with Firefox? Or if you're using firefox, try it with IE?
