NY Baseball not great this year major or minor leagues.

I can't argue with that. Neither the Yankees nor the Mets look like post-season favorites and the Cyclones are having a mediocre season.

I didn't travel to Brooklyn today because of the weather forecast. The game was supposed to begin at 2pm. They finally started play at 4pm and are now in the second inning with a rain delay. Glad I didn't go and sit in the rain/dankness for two hours. 😛

Yea that was a smart move. I skipped a doc appointment once cause it was suppose to be real cold windy and rainy.

They did eventually play the whole game, ending about 7:30pm, and the Cyclones lost 13 to 5. 🙁

Yes, the Dodgers are 55-40, just barely good enough to be in first place in the NL West. 😀

The Yankees need Judge healthy again.

That's the problem...when the Yankees won all those championships from 1996-2000 they weren't a 1 man team. They had Jeter, Bernie, O'Neill, Tino, Pettite, Wells, Cone, Rivera etc. Now we have 1 hitter (Judge) and 1 pitcher (Cole) that we basically rely on to carry the team.

That is always dangerous. When the Dodgers had only one hitter (Mike Piazza, 1993 to 1998 when he was traded away) they won exactly 0 NL Pennants.
