I have a slight hangover this morning after celebrating the Dodgers being the NL Pennant winners for 2024 until past 2am.

Any team that gives up 7 walks per game to a team with a good offense to begin with is going to see their opponents score lots of runs.

Any team that leave almost 9 runners on base per game is going to have problems scoring much.

I begin working for the Board of Elections on Saturday.

That is because Saturday is the first day of Early Voting.

The last day of Early Voting is Sunday, November 3rd, which is also the day of the NYC Marathon.

The NYC Marathon causes huge disruption to my neighborhood.

That is because the finish line is just across Central Park West in the park.

So, I am glad that I will be working that day and out of the neighborhood.

Today is Tuesday and the NBA season opens.

I've also been following hockey (the Rangers) the first several games of this season as well.

The only sport that I follow is baseball.

I watch one other sport without following it, namely Women's Beach Volleyball.

Never heard of it either till yesterday.

It is essentially a heart attack with little or no symptoms.

The good news is that they are not as severe usually.
