I worked for 17 hours yesterday.

That was from 5am to 10pm at a polling place.

It was the polling place for election district 003 of assembly district 75 in NYC.

I am glad that the Dodgers won the World Series.

I have ordered four different T-shirts from them, each of which commemorates the championship.

They have been shipped, but not yet arrived.

I really like them.

Now in retrospect, the 2024 World Series was wonderful.

The Yankees had the worst defensive half-inning ever in any World Series since 1903 when they began.

That was the top of the 5th inning of Game 5 in which the Dodgers scored 5 unearned runs.

The Dodgers were awesome.

Hope they win it all again next year.

We will see what happens.

The autumn weather has been nice this year.

It's been mostly dry and mild.

I'll take that but no it won't last forever.

Now in retrospect, the 2024 World Series was wonderful.

The Dodgers had the greatest comeback in any clinching victory in a World Series game, overcoming a 5-0 deficit to win 7-6.

That is not the greatest comeback in any World Series game because the 1929 Philadelphia Athletics rallied from an 8-0 deficit to beat the Cubs 10-8.

It was a fun baseball season in New York.

Football season is disappointing as usual.

Basketball and hockey are more hopeful.

It is not clear to me why, in the most populated city with the biggest television market, neither of the NFL teams has had a good season in years.

Not that I can name a player on either the Jets or the Giants anyway.

Neither is there a college football team near here that is high in the national rankings.

It definitely felt like November.
