It was an ugly day today with the rain and snow.

We had 2 inches of snow but mostly on grassy areas.

My brother arrived last night from San Diego.

We are going to brunch today and then to my mom's for a family dinner.

My brother usually comes for Christmas not for Thanksgiving but this year will be going to Europe for Christmas.

Actually, Wednesday is half day (per my department's tradition).

I love this week and look forward to Thanksgiving.

I will be going to Syracuse on Thanksgiving morning by Amtrak.

On a train you can walk around whenever you wish and the restrooms are not so tiny as on an airplane.

That is why I'm not flying to Syracuse.

I need a haircut before I go to see family for Thanksgiving.

Fortunately, my barber gives a discount to senior citizens on Tuesdays.

So, today is the perfect day to get a haircut.

Tomorrow I will take Amtrak to Syracuse.

It will be raining, but that doesn't interfere with train travel.

Makes me glad that I didn't plan to fly to Syracuse.

Got my Holter Heart Monitor today

Wear it for 48 hours then take it off

I return it Monday morning

It's been a busy week with family and friends.

I've really enjoyed this special week so far.

I'm not looking forward to the colder weather arriving with December, however, despite being happy about the holiday season being upon us.
