i'm getting ready to watch the movie Jaws....now that beginning was truly ridiculous..i read the book you see..the shark was soooo huge that after the first tug the lady felt and then she reaches down to free her leg from what she thought was seaweed..only to feel warmth, and no leg...before she can scream she is ripped right in two...not dragged all over the ocean, in that awful dragged out scene in the movie..

the shark was huge...almost mythical...and the book portrayed the shark as a thinking killing machine..with no soul...at times you were the shark in the book...

That stuff is SO GOOD, but it's important to dollop it out in small amounts. You know, like feta cheese. It's delicious, but too much of a good thing and bletch.

i just got done watching Rush live on the palladia...from a 2005 concert in Frankfurt, Germany..o god..those guys..i doubt any new band today could out play these guys..that drummer is super fantastic...the guitarist also..and of course Geddy Lee...pure genius...and they perform live perfectly...sounds as good as their studio recordings..and his voice still soars...
 
I'm going to see a GI specialist tomorrow to figure out why my lower intestines are malnourishing me to the point where I've lost 12 lbs in 2 months without trying...and can't eat without pain...followed by said food passing quickly through me...

TMI, I know...just wish me luck...I'm a bit scared...haven't been to a doctor in a long time.
 
As a newly realized resident of the state of California, I was shocked to find that Proposition 8 was dealt with so resoundingly... I always figured that if any state was 'liberal' (whatever that actually means) it would be California and the populace would ensure that the true definition of diversity, at least with regard to sexual orientiation, would triumph. What a shock to me when it was rejected so soundly.


Obviously, something is out of the ordinary going on in the 'liberal' side of our country's house. Could it be that there is more of a 'coming out' party for many other groups politically than most people realized this year?

Hello fellow Californian! ^_^ I too, was shocked at the outcome of Proposition 8 but am sure that it will be fought strongly and over-turned. I think that religious beliefs caused it to win. Not people's personal view but the view of their religious group.
