To contribute, my mother's recovery from a total knee replacement surgery is going almost miraculously well. I've been staying with 'em to help take care of her while she recuperates and as soon as Christmas is over, I'm looking back into furthering my own life! :ggrin:

Yeah I'm working on the second chapter of my fic. My problem is that I'll think and think and think about the next chapter but never actually fire up Word. I have the next damn chapter already written in my mind but I never actually write it down. :super_hap

I have no words of wisdom for you there. For me, a situation like that will often eventually resolve itself, provided 'Life' and stuff don't interfere too too much.

I don't think I could ever write under deadline. That would be brutal, don't you think?
 
It may very well turn into a novel.

As for deadlines back in high school and college I always did my best work when I started my papers 2 or 3 days before they were due. There is just some magic in that mental rush of caffeine and fear.

Probably in January or February, though we need to make some tweaks first.

I have the exact same problem. I literally have half a novel written in my mind but can never seem to summon the ability to type it.
 
well hubby is snoring in the other room...sixteen days with him...how will i survive?

and two days before we fly somewhere..and damn it, i'm nervous already..i hate my nerves..isn't that what paxil is supposed to work against? damn.. it's an exciting nervousness..but it's nerves nonetheless..

For the snoring get a very large bra fill the cups with large nuts(the type you eat) make hubby wear it back to front, he won't be able to lie 😎 on his back and this may stop him snoring.

When you get there you will being having a break from the norm and will meet friends relatives ect, it will be a change, and you will sevive very well, you are a very capable lady,try and relax and chill out,flying is like going to the dentist i'am of course never afraid of the dentist i just knock boldly and loudly on his door with a wet sponge until he lets me in.
 
I was singing my recital song just practicing and I almost wished everybody a crappy holiday instead of happy.I said have a crap..happy holiday lol.But I ended up singing and playing well at the recital I just came in during the intro on accident.Oh well,I can't be perfect.

hmm if i can't get my damn lock unfrozen on the building in the back yard, which stores our shovel..i might have to call ole Al..damn it..it's snowing like crap outside right now..it's beautiful but...

also the power is still out in parts of our county...since tuesday without..wow..we were lucky ours was only out the one afternoon..pays to live in the town area...
