TickleTheater Social

So I was brave and decided to try mild coffee brew. Dislike, gimme my dark roast.

The man likes to live...dangerously. :cool I generally don't do coffee unless it comes out of the soil in Kona.

What if they have a coffee-flavored Kool-Aid?

OOHHHH YEEEAAAHHHHH....

Only coffee I can stomach is like Cappuccino or something like that. Toffee flavored or pumpkin <3

I'm a coffee fiend and a bit of a snob when it comes to it.

Granted, I also like Timmy's coffee and I'm told its trash by a few Canadians and Americans, but everyone is allowed to have a wrong opinion. 😉

Why do we need a social now? If I wanted to be social I'd go outside and wander till I found someone interesting then peg them.

To keep other threads on topic. After all the hundreds of times you and I've derailed threads from smart-mouthing each other I'd think you'd understand 😛

That hasn't happened a million years, K.

Also I need a 3DS. Soon...

I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. Until recently the prognosis wasn't as good as it is now, technology really is a wonderful thing. I would say I'm about middle of the road in terms of severity, as I can't walk nor feel my legs (Occulta level spina bifida heals up before birth and only leaves one with some minor nerve damage, I had a professor like that), but my brain was left undamaged (Yes yes I know, "but Karen, your brain's totally borked!" I love you guys too 😛 ) and I can use my knees and hips. They told my mom I wasn't going to be intelligent enough to get dressed in the morning-they literally made her say goodbye to me cuz they didn't expect me to live the night. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology 😛

~K

I really hate it when Doctors tell it like it's a fact. It's one thing to say "due to complications it's possible that-" but don't say "oh she won't make it." The thing that got the doctor's license revoked for my cousin, was the doctor ACTUALLY TOLD HER FATHER that the best thing they could do was put her in the crib, say goodbye, and LEAVE HER TO STARVE. You can bet when my aunt heard about that all hell broke loose. The thought that anyone, but ESPECIALLY a medically trained professional could say that.... it makes me just want to cry for humanity. Anyway, my cousin's goal was to graduate high school, and she did it with excellent grades! B) So take that, Doc. She lived 20 years more than his "estimate".

Also, congrats on your degree! I'd considered psychology once, but I'm so indecisive. :S

Karen always makes me feel like I can go and slug a mountain and win. (As opposed to breaking my wrist and knuckles.)

LOL! Awww Coggy. I've never had any coffee. Doctors did some allergy tests on me since I'm allergic to everything, said I was allergic, so that in combination with the possibility of dependency, I decided to just never find out. lol

Man, I don't think I've ever had as bad experiences with Doctors as you all have had. When my mother and brother were ill, we always asked that they tell us straight what was going on. We also always got second opinions when we could to, so maybe I'm disillusioned. D:

I'm allergic to one thing! Cat poop. What do I have!? 2 cats.

That's absolutely horrible and I'm glad your aunt stuck it to that doctor. I've had incompetent doctors, but never on that scale :/ And I'm sorry to hear that she's passed on, but 20 years more than expected is pretty damned impressive.

Thanks, it wasn't easy x) The actual work comes easy to me, psychology seems like common sense to me most of the time-but the papers, oh damn the papers x_x

I could go on with medical horror stories but this is a happy place. ;__; *rocks*
Also wait, you can be allergic to cat poop?!? Or like, the litter?

I also demand photos of said cats.

She didn't want another surgery to reduce the swelling, since her goal was to graduate and she had, she asked to just be let go peacefully. So she was happy, surrounded by family and friends. It was more of a relief because at least it was peaceful and painless, you know?

AH MAN I know that feeling all too well! When it comes to tests, I can know the stuff like the back of my hand but I will over analyze the wording LOL

I'm the opposite, I'm fine in class, I can answer any question, I can do great on the multiple questions of the test, but when it came to essay questions I just bottom lined way too much. Never did get over that >.>

After having tried many brands, I was surprised that McDonald's was the best coffee I've had in the USA. (At home I just drink instant, usually Cafe Combate from Mexico.)

Best coffee I regularly have is shell station's pumpkin cappuccino they come out with long about September or October. One of my favorite things about fall x)

Edit: I also sometimes cut it with hot chocolate. I know, I'm weird, but half hot chocolate half cappuccino (even pumpkin spice) is delicious.
